Description

This training is now available year-round as an asynchronous online course in Canvas® that is designed for New BEdA Administrators.

The purpose of this asynchronous orientation is to provide the essential information that new Directors, Deans or Administrators in a federally funded Basic Education for Adults program need to be successful in their role. This training is offered online for enrollment on an as-needed basis for the timely onboarding support of new administrators.

Modules cover information such as:

System Structure, Organization and Vision
The Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act
Program Funding and Fiscal Management
Program Reporting
BEdA Special Programs
Equity, Diversity and Inclusion
Professional Development Opportunities

The training is available for registration between 9/14/26-6/9/27, however participants should plan to commit 1-3 hours per week for a month's time to complete the content.
