After surviving a serious motor vehicle accident, a practicing nurse experienced trauma from both sides of the bedrail, as a patient and as a clinician. This session explores how mindfulness can support recovery, professional identity reconstruction and post traumatic growth while integrating trauma-informed principles. Participants will learn practical, evidence-informed strategies to strengthen clinical compassion, reduce secondary traumatic stress and support resilience for both patients and health care providers.
