Registration for the 2026-27 New Faculty Orientation is now available year-round as an asynchronous online course in Canvas® that is designed for New BEdA Administrators.

This asynchronous (online, self-paced) course is designed for instructors who have entered the Washington Basic Education for Adults (BEdA) system in the last year. It provides essential information that faculty in a federally funded BEdA program need to be successful in their role.

This training is available for enrollment on an as-needed basis for the timely onboarding support of new BEdA faculty. It is offered via the Canvas Learning Management System and is available for registration between 9/18/26-6/9/27. While it's asynchronous, participants should plan to commit 1-3 hours per week for 1-2 months' time to complete the content.
