Freedom Tastes Like This: Food, Land & LegacyJoin us for an interactive workshop that explores the role of food in the story of emancipation, resilience and cultural identity in Black communities. The program weaves together; the historical connection between land, food access, and freedom after emancipation and the role of African American women in shaping agricultural and culinary traditions followed by a storytelling activity where participants reflect on their own food histories. For ages 13+.
