Dave Wetzel, Atmospheric Landscapes Opening Reception

Dave Wetzel, Atmospheric Landscapes , Exhibition Dates: February 6th – 28th, 2026, Opening Reception: Friday, February 6th from 4:30 – 7:00 p.m. Dave Wetzel's new exhibition titled Atmospheric Landscapes is a collection of oil paintings depicting local familiar landscapes. Most of the paintings in this collection are views that many locals have marveled at and savored. Through his choice of color, line, and shape, Wetzel seeks to emulate the otherworldly beauty that exists in our backyard. Dave Wetzel grew up in Florida spending most of his free time exploring the outdoors. An early family trip to the West exposed him to dynamic scenery and inspired a lifelong love of wilderness. As the son of a professional artist, he began painting at a very young age and he believes that oil is the best medium to create the necessary texture and depth to bring dynamic scenery to life.
