Aletheia House is a community-based organization that has been providing low-cost substance abuse treatment and prevention services to individuals. As early as 2024, there is approximately 2600 people who are currently living with HIV. Nearly 17% of Alabamians with HIV are not aware of their status. BPL Mobile @ Birmingham Overlook (2712 31st Ave N)

The vehicle, called BPL Mobile, is far more than a traditional bookmobile. On BPL Mobile, patrons are able to take advantage of many services available in libraries across Birmingham such as:   Books Computers Free Wi-Fi Citizen services such as notarizing, and printing Programs and activities such as library story times and STEM BPL Mobile vehicle is a result of a collaboration between BPL and the Birmingham Jefferson County Transit Authority (BJCTA), and local developer Ed Ticheli.
