Bermuda Restaurant Weeks - January 16th to February 2nd

A marquee event in the calendar of every foodie who loves the island, Bermuda Restaurant Weeks - the annual initiative prompted by Bermuda Tourism to let us dine at many restaurants at a reduced cost -  is back, from Thursday, January 16th to Sunday, February 2nd. Once again, the Bermuda culinary community are encouraged to dazzle with Bermuda-inspired menus that show off the best of the island’s food culture – traditional favourites and creative interpretations with modern-day twists. This year 51 restaurants will be participating and you get to vote online for the establishment that conveyed Bermuda inspiration the best with the People’s Choice Awards. Pickleball at Pomander Gate Tennis Club

Enjoy playing social doubles of Pickleball at Pomander Gate Tennis Club every Monday morning from May 22nd. From 9am until 11am each week, all levels are welcome to come and play this fast-growing sport.  Pickleball is a racquet sport played on a hard court the same size as a badminton court with wiffle style balls and hard paddles.  It is a round robin style event and when one game is finished anyone on the bench rotates in. Current Exhibits at Bermuda Arts Centre Dockyard - until January 31st

Current Exhibits at BSoA: A City Celebrates - until February 4th

A new exhibition is opening at the Bermuda Society of Arts on the top floor of City Hall on Friday, January 17th.  A City Celebrates will show artwork of various mediums, celebrating all things Hamilton, in recognition of the 225th Anniversary of the Corporation of Hamilton's service to the community.  All are invited to come and vote your Peoples Choice from the works of professional, amateur and student artists in this show. Current Exhibits at National Museum of Bermuda: Show Us Your Bermuda - until May 31st

The National Museum of Bermuda (NMB) recently revealed the 18 finalists of the Dr. Reg Grundy Annual Youth Photography Competition in a new exhibition at the museum entitled: Show Us Your Bermuda which will remain on display in the first floor of the Commissioner's House until Tuesday, May 31st.  Open to all local photography enthusiasts aged 7 to 18, the competition was designed to inspire the next generation of photographers and encourage an appreciation for Bermuda’s natural and cultural environment and a desire to protect it. Current Exhibits at National Museum of Bermuda: Show Us Your Bermuda - until May 31st

The National Museum of Bermuda (NMB) recently revealed the 18 finalists of the Dr. Reg Grundy Annual Youth Photography Competition in a new exhibition at the museum entitled: Show Us Your Bermuda which will remain on display in the first floor of the Commissioner's House until Tuesday, May 31st.  Open to all local photography enthusiasts aged 7 to 18, the competition was designed to inspire the next generation of photographers and encourage an appreciation for Bermuda’s natural and cultural environment and a desire to protect it. World Heritage Centre Art Exhibit: Bermuda Panoramas by Emile Antoine Verpilleux

The St. George's Foundation has a permanent exhibit of Bermuda landscape murals painted in the 1930's by Emile Antoine Verpilleux for the Anderson family of Ford Motor Company. These large paintings depict an era long ago and are not only of value as works of art, but are of historical and education interest.  These mural have been restored and are exhibited at The World Heritage Centre, St. George This exhibit will be ongoing until further notice. Daily Dolphin Demonstration and Conservation Chat

The Grateful Bread Monthly Feeding Program - January 30th

The Grateful Bread, a community action dinner program to help heal racial and social divisions in our society, host a free dinner for those in need on the last Thursday of every month. The next dinner will be held on Thursday, January 30th.  Doors open at 5:45pm at Astwood Hall, adjacent to St. Andrews church on Church Street (opposite HSBC), and service will start promptly at 6pm. Food is served by ticket number until 7:15pm, or all food is gone. There will also be free giveaways of clothes, shoes, household items, toiletries and more.  The free meal is provided by the generous donations of their volunteers. A new exhibition is opening at the Bermuda Society of Arts on the top floor of City Hall on Friday, January 17th.  A City Celebrates will show artwork of various mediums, celebrating all things Hamilton, in recognition of the 225th Anniversary of the Corporation of Hamilton's service to the community.  All are invited to come and vote your Peoples Choice from the works of professional, amateur and student artists in this show. Current Exhibits at National Museum of Bermuda: Show Us Your Bermuda - until May 31st

The National Museum of Bermuda (NMB) recently revealed the 18 finalists of the Dr. Reg Grundy Annual Youth Photography Competition in a new exhibition at the museum entitled: Show Us Your Bermuda which will remain on display in the first floor of the Commissioner's House until Tuesday, May 31st.  Open to all local photography enthusiasts aged 7 to 18, the competition was designed to inspire the next generation of photographers and encourage an appreciation for Bermuda’s natural and cultural environment and a desire to protect it. African Bermuda Dispersion Cultural Bus Tour 2020

Titan Tours invites you to come, experience and discover the Island's untold legacy on their African Bermuda Dispersion Cultural Bus Tour 2020, which will take you on a Sankofa Journey of the enslaved on Saturdays throughout February and March.  Roughly 60 percent of Bermudians are of African Ancestry, many of whom are descendants of West African and West Indian slaves brought here during the 17th century. The Titan Bus will be parked directly outside the Hamilton Visitor Service Centre on Front Street (next to the Ferry Terminal), departing at 10am to visit sites based on stories of enslaved people and learn of their struggles for religious freedom on the Island. Current Exhibits at BSoA: A City Celebrates - until February 4th

A new exhibition is opening at the Bermuda Society of Arts on the top floor of City Hall on Friday, January 17th.  A City Celebrates will show artwork of various mediums, celebrating all things Hamilton, in recognition of the 225th Anniversary of the Corporation of Hamilton's service to the community.  All are invited to come and vote your Peoples Choice from the works of professional, amateur and student artists in this show. Current Exhibits at National Museum of Bermuda: Show Us Your Bermuda - until May 31st

The National Museum of Bermuda (NMB) recently revealed the 18 finalists of the Dr. Reg Grundy Annual Youth Photography Competition in a new exhibition at the museum entitled: Show Us Your Bermuda which will remain on display in the first floor of the Commissioner's House until Tuesday, May 31st.  Open to all local photography enthusiasts aged 7 to 18, the competition was designed to inspire the next generation of photographers and encourage an appreciation for Bermuda’s natural and cultural environment and a desire to protect it. Hamilton Princess Art Tour

The Hamilton Princess & Beach Club is proud to introduce, as part of its more than $90M renovation, a public art program throughout the lobby and public spaces in the hotel. The Hamilton Princess Art Tour will take place at 10am every Saturday. Contemporary works are juxtaposed against the historic architectural details and crown molding to enliven the space. The collection includes artists such as Andy Warhol (Queen Elizabeth II, Reigning Queens), Damien Hirst (Cineole), Nelson Mandela (Impressions of Africa, Key & Bars, and Struggle Series), Bansky, and Philippe Decrauzat (Sz), among others. World Heritage Centre Art Exhibit: Bermuda Panoramas by Emile Antoine Verpilleux

The St. George's Foundation has a permanent exhibit of Bermuda landscape murals painted in the 1930's by Emile Antoine Verpilleux for the Anderson family of Ford Motor Company. These large paintings depict an era long ago and are not only of value as works of art, but are of historical and education interest.  These mural have been restored and are exhibited at The World Heritage Centre, St. George This exhibit will be ongoing until further notice. Daily Dolphin Demonstration and Conservation Chat

Dolphin Quest Bermuda host a Daily Dolphin Demonstration and Conservation Chat, every day throughout the winter season.  From 1:30pm until 1:40pm in the Dolphin Lagoon, you can join the Marine Mammal Specialists at Dolphin Quest for a 10 minute engaging dockside conservation chat, followed by a Q&A.  Each demo will focus on a specific topic each day. Harness Pony Racing - February 1st

The Driving Horse and Pony Club of Bermuda invite you to attend the 2019/2020 Season of Harness Pony Racing starting on Saturday, December 21st.  The first race starts at 6pm at the National Equestrian Centre on Vesey Street. Harness racing is a worldwide sport but in Bermuda the challenge of racing has higher demands due to the size and shape of the race track. Narcotics Anonymous (NA) is a support group for addicts. The primary message of Narcotics Anonymous is that any addict can stop using drugs, lose the desire to use, and find a new and better way to live through applying the NA program in daily life. The name "Narcotics Anonymous" is not meant to imply a focus on any particular drug or group of drugs. The NA program makes no distinction between drugs (including alcohol).
