Integrating Enterprise Risk Management into the Business - September 24th & 25th

The Institute of Internal Auditors (Bermuda) Chapter will be hosting training sessions on Integrating Enterprise Risk Management into the Business on Monday, September 24th and Tuesday, 25th.  This will be held on both days, from 9am until 4pm, and lunch will be provided. Pickleball at Pomander Gate Tennis Club

Enjoy playing social doubles of Pickleball at Pomander Gate Tennis Club every Monday morning from May 22nd. From 9am until 11am each week, all levels are welcome to come and play this fast-growing sport.  Pickleball is a racquet sport played on a hard court the same size as a badminton court with wiffle style balls and hard paddles.  It is a round robin style event and when one game is finished anyone on the bench rotates in. 5th Tomasz Tabor Memorial Golf Tournament & Raffle- September 24th

OPEN MEETINGS As the term suggests, meetings of this type are open to alcoholics and their families and to anyone interested in solving a personal drinking problem or helping someone else to solve such a problem. CLOSED MEETINGS These meetings are limited to alcoholics. They provide an opportunity for members to share with one another on problems related to drinking patterns and attempts to achieve stable sobriety. Black and White: New Exhibit at Bermuda Arts Centre Dockyard

Black and White, a new exhibit is opening at the Bermuda Arts Centre Dockyard on Sunday, September 16th.  The opening event will be from 5:30pm until 8pm, with a multi media show featuring works from member artists. Historical Reenactment & Walking Tour in Dockyard

Step into history as you take a journey through the Royal Naval Dockyard at a Historical Re-enactment and Walking Tour weekly on Tuesdays and Fridays. The tour starts at the moongate on the cruise ship pier at 9.45am and ends at 11am around the Clocktower Mall.  Suitable for all ages, this interactive and educational experience will depict life in the Royal Naval Dockyard in the early 1800s. With a knowledgeable guide and actors (fully dressed in period costume), you will be transported to another time, while learning the historical aspects of breakwaters, fortifications, storehouses, workshops, barracks and much more. World Masters Ball Hockey - September 25th to September 30th

Ball hockey teams from around the world are to face off in Bermuda when the island hosts the International Street & Ball Hockey Federation's (ISBHF) World Masters Championship from Tuesday, September 25th until Sunday, September 30th.   Over 600 hockey players, coaches and support staff from 17 North American and European teams in both the Men's and Women's Divisions will compete for a chance at a Gold Medal. This promises to be one of the biggest ISBHF tournaments on the calendar, with the very best international teams involved.  The tournament begins 4pm on Tuesday, September 25th at Pembroke Community Center (PCC) when Austria takes on Old Glory USA. This is immediately followed up by a major tilt between Bermuda and the Czech Republic, squaring off at 5:15pm. The tournament schedule is packed with almost 10 games per day starting on Wednesday, September 26th. The first games begins at 9:15am on most days, and the last game starts at 9:45pm on most nights. Black and White: New Exhibit at Bermuda Arts Centre Dockyard

Black and White, a new exhibit is opening at the Bermuda Arts Centre Dockyard on Sunday, September 16th.  The opening event will be from 5:30pm until 8pm, with a multi media show featuring works from member artists. The criteria of black and white is a guideline, but it is in the artists’ interpretation of the subject matter that has led to most interesting works of art being entered. There is no admission fee. World Masters Ball Hockey - September 26th to September 30th

Ball hockey teams from around the world are to face off in Bermuda when the island hosts the International Street & Ball Hockey Federation's (ISBHF) World Masters Championship from Tuesday, September 25th until Sunday, September 30th.   Over 600 hockey players, coaches and support staff from 17 North American and European teams in both the Men's and Women's Divisions will compete for a chance at a Gold Medal. This promises to be one of the biggest ISBHF tournaments on the calendar, with the very best international teams involved.  The tournament begins 4pm on Tuesday, September 25th at Pembroke Community Center (PCC) when Austria takes on Old Glory USA. This is immediately followed up by a major tilt between Bermuda and the Czech Republic, squaring off at 5:15pm. The tournament schedule is packed with almost 10 games per day starting on Wednesday, September 26th. The first games begins at 9:15am on most days, and the last game starts at 9:45pm on most nights. World Heritage Centre Art Exhibit: Bermuda Panoramas by Emile Antoine Verpilleux

The St. George's Foundation has a permanent exhibit of Bermuda landscape murals painted in the 1930's by Emile Antoine Verpilleux for the Anderson family of Ford Motor Company. These large paintings depict an era long ago and are not only of value as works of art, but are of historical and education interest.  These mural have been restored and are exhibited at The World Heritage Centre, St. George This exhibit will be ongoing until further notice. Black and White: New Exhibit at Bermuda Arts Centre Dockyard

Black and White, a new exhibit is opening at the Bermuda Arts Centre Dockyard on Sunday, September 16th.  The opening event will be from 5:30pm until 8pm, with a multi media show featuring works from member artists. The criteria of black and white is a guideline, but it is in the artists’ interpretation of the subject matter that has led to most interesting works of art being entered. There is no admission fee. World Masters Ball Hockey - September 25th to September 30th

Ball hockey teams from around the world are to face off in Bermuda when the island hosts the International Street & Ball Hockey Federation's (ISBHF) World Masters Championship from Tuesday, September 25th until Sunday, September 30th.   Over 600 hockey players, coaches and support staff from 17 North American and European teams in both the Men's and Women's Divisions will compete for a chance at a Gold Medal. This promises to be one of the biggest ISBHF tournaments on the calendar, with the very best international teams involved.  The tournament begins 4pm on Tuesday, September 25th at Pembroke Community Center (PCC) when Austria takes on Old Glory USA. This is immediately followed up by a major tilt between Bermuda and the Czech Republic, squaring off at 5:15pm. The tournament schedule is packed with almost 10 games per day starting on Wednesday, September 26th. The first games begins at 9:15am on most days, and the last game starts at 9:45pm on most nights. The Grateful Bread

"Think Thanksgiving" as The Grateful Bread will be hosting a monthly feeding program starting on Thursday, August 30th. This will be held on the last Thursday of every month, at Astwood Hall opposite of HSBC on Church Street. The event will start and end promptly, from 6pm until 7.30pm or earlier if all food is gone. Black and White: New Exhibit at Bermuda Arts Centre Dockyard

Black and White, a new exhibit is opening at the Bermuda Arts Centre Dockyard on Sunday, September 16th.  The opening event will be from 5:30pm until 8pm, with a multi media show featuring works from member artists. The criteria of black and white is a guideline, but it is in the artists’ interpretation of the subject matter that has led to most interesting works of art being entered. There is no admission fee.
