Hidden throughout the Museum are 8 handcrafted Digger Doors – wooden plaques featuring diggers, trucks and construction machinery with interactive moving compartments to explore.
Each one has a different native Australian animal wearing a construction hard hat. Search high and low through the Museum to find them all and discover which animals have joined the construction crew. Can you track down all 8 Digger Doors and uncover every hidden animal?

Our Club sells thousands of books. Our best sellers are our novels written by popular authors – Lee Child, Di Morrissey, Tom Clancy, Tim Winton, James Patterson and Michael Connelly for example. We also have hundreds and hundreds of adult fiction novels.
Our book categories number about twenty. From biographies, crime, cooking to history, children's picture and chapter books, we cover just about every topic. We also have some rare and unusual books where you can find a genuine bargain.

This is an intergenerational event celebrating seniors on Coochiemudlo Island.
The event is open to all generations both on and off the island.
This will be a relaxed and welcoming afternoon high tea at the Coochie Recreation Club with a number of activities with the major activity being seniors telling their stories about when they came to Coochie and what life was like. These stories will be live streamed for those who cannot attend and the recordings will be given to the Heritage Society for a living history of life on Coochie.
The Coochie Bus will be operating to collect people to and from the Jetty and people's homes to the event.

The local fishmonger, or ‘Fisho’ is the source of inspiration for artist Jack Rodgers. Photographs of locals with their prized catches provide an entry point to reflect on the connections we establish with our surroundings - whether at familiar fishing spots or, in Rodgers’ case, through treasured family pilgrimages to the local fishmonger.
Drawing on this sense of place and nostalgia, Rodgers has created a series of works that explore fishing culture. From catching, selling and eating fish to fishing gear and tackle, the works also extend into the history of Brisbane’s fishmongers, including the State Fish Market at South Brisbane.
FISHO celebrates fishing not just as a pastime, but as a shared cultural experience that fosters community. While grounded in Rodgers’ personal story, the exhibition speaks more broadly to the universal emotional and nostalgic connections we hold to familiar places and everyday surroundings.

Just like a day on the water, you never know what you might reel in. As your drawing evolves with each spin, unexpected combinations and curious stories begin to surface. In Visualising the Written Word, the artists of Redland Yurara Art Society Inc. explore the interplay between the visual and the written. Seeking inspiration from a variety of written stimuli, including poetry, song lyrics, personal correspondence and prose, the artists offer fresh, creative responses to their chosen sources.
Beyond illustration, each work offers a glimpse into the psyche of the artist, exploring both their selected written piece and their artistic response. From the deeply personal to the abstract, the breadth of works offered demonstrates the vast possibilities of creativity.

Take a chance and cast your line by spinning our Drawing Wheel. Each spin lands on a surprise drawing prompt, inviting you to add a new element, texture, shape, creature, or environment to your artwork.
Just like a day on the water, you never know what you might reel in. As your drawing evolves with each spin, unexpected combinations and curious stories begin to surface. Exhibition: FISHO By Jack Rodgers
Redland Art Gallery
The local fishmonger, or ‘Fisho’ is the source of inspiration for artist Jack Rodgers. Photographs of locals with their prized catches provide an entry point to reflect on the connections we establish with our surroundings - whether at familiar fishing spots or, in Rodgers’ case, through treasured family pilgrimages to the local fishmonger.
Drawing on this sense of place and nostalgia, Rodgers has created a series of works that explore fishing culture. From catching, selling and eating fish to fishing gear and tackle, the works also extend into the history of Brisbane’s fishmongers, including the State Fish Market at South Brisbane.
FISHO celebrates fishing not just as a pastime, but as a shared cultural experience that fosters community. While grounded in Rodgers’ personal story, the exhibition speaks more broadly to the universal emotional and nostalgic connections we hold to familiar places and everyday surroundings.

The local fishmonger, or ‘Fisho’ is the source of inspiration for artist Jack Rodgers. Photographs of locals with their prized catches provide an entry point to reflect on the connections we establish with our surroundings - whether at familiar fishing spots or, in Rodgers’ case, through treasured family pilgrimages to the local fishmonger.
Drawing on this sense of place and nostalgia, Rodgers has created a series of works that explore fishing culture. From catching, selling and eating fish to fishing gear and tackle, the works also extend into the history of Brisbane’s fishmongers, including the State Fish Market at South Brisbane.
FISHO celebrates fishing not just as a pastime, but as a shared cultural experience that fosters community. While grounded in Rodgers’ personal story, the exhibition speaks more broadly to the universal emotional and nostalgic connections we hold to familiar places and everyday surroundings.

These classes are designed for all levels of fitness with lots of options offered. You go at your own pace and ability; there is no floor work and no pressure. The ages range from 50 to 80 and beyond so you are in good company. It includes cardio, resistance work (all equipment supplied), stretching and relaxation in a friendly and safe environment. After each class, there is an opportunity to socialize and get to know one another, by having a cuppa in a nearby café plus there are fun monthly social events if you wish to join in. Prices are $16/class and a one-off Intro Deal of $60 for 5 classes with further discount class passes offered. You only pay when you attend. The local fishmonger, or ‘Fisho’ is the source of inspiration for artist Jack Rodgers. Photographs of locals with their prized catches provide an entry point to reflect on the connections we establish with our surroundings - whether at familiar fishing spots or, in Rodgers’ case, through treasured family pilgrimages to the local fishmonger.
Drawing on this sense of place and nostalgia, Rodgers has created a series of works that explore fishing culture. From catching, selling and eating fish to fishing gear and tackle, the works also extend into the history of Brisbane’s fishmongers, including the State Fish Market at South Brisbane.
FISHO celebrates fishing not just as a pastime, but as a shared cultural experience that fosters community. While grounded in Rodgers’ personal story, the exhibition speaks more broadly to the universal emotional and nostalgic connections we hold to familiar places and everyday surroundings.

Take a chance and cast your line by spinning our Drawing Wheel. Each spin lands on a surprise drawing prompt, inviting you to add a new element, texture, shape, creature, or environment to your artwork.
Just like a day on the water, you never know what you might reel in. As your drawing evolves with each spin, unexpected combinations and curious stories begin to surface. Join Carys in the studio for a playful pottery workshop, inspired by the folklore, traditions and imagery that surround Halloween – or take the techniques in your own direction and create a vessel to enjoy all year round.
Halloween has deep roots in the old Gaelic festival of Samhain, traditionally marking the end of the harvest and the beginning of the darker half of the year. Of course, here in the Southern Hemisphere our seasons are turning in the opposite direction – towards summer rather than winter – but many of us still celebrate Halloween and feel a connection to the stories and traditions that travelled here from the Northern Hemisphere.
You’ll begin with a pre-made, wheel-thrown round clay form, approximately 12cm high, ready for you to transform. Starting with the form already made means you can spend the workshop concentrating on the creative part – building, sculpting, carving and decorating.

Diwali 2026 is a free outdoor community celebration hosted by the Brisbane Bayside South Indian Association, bringing the Festival of Lights to the Redlands Coast.
Held at the Sam Sciacca Sports Fields, Capalaba Bulldogs Football Club, the event welcomes families and people of all backgrounds to share in one of the most joyful festivals in the Indian calendar.
The celebration features live music and dance performances, food trucks serving authentic South Indian and Indian cuisine, clothing and jewellery stalls, and a range of family activities including face painting, henna, and a jumping castle for children. The evening builds toward a fireworks display, lighting up the night in the true spirit of Diwali.

The local fishmonger, or ‘Fisho’ is the source of inspiration for artist Jack Rodgers. Photographs of locals with their prized catches provide an entry point to reflect on the connections we establish with our surroundings - whether at familiar fishing spots or, in Rodgers’ case, through treasured family pilgrimages to the local fishmonger.
Drawing on this sense of place and nostalgia, Rodgers has created a series of works that explore fishing culture. From catching, selling and eating fish to fishing gear and tackle, the works also extend into the history of Brisbane’s fishmongers, including the State Fish Market at South Brisbane.
FISHO celebrates fishing not just as a pastime, but as a shared cultural experience that fosters community. While grounded in Rodgers’ personal story, the exhibition speaks more broadly to the universal emotional and nostalgic connections we hold to familiar places and everyday surroundings.

The local fishmonger, or ‘Fisho’ is the source of inspiration for artist Jack Rodgers. Photographs of locals with their prized catches provide an entry point to reflect on the connections we establish with our surroundings - whether at familiar fishing spots or, in Rodgers’ case, through treasured family pilgrimages to the local fishmonger.
Drawing on this sense of place and nostalgia, Rodgers has created a series of works that explore fishing culture. From catching, selling and eating fish to fishing gear and tackle, the works also extend into the history of Brisbane’s fishmongers, including the State Fish Market at South Brisbane.
FISHO celebrates fishing not just as a pastime, but as a shared cultural experience that fosters community. While grounded in Rodgers’ personal story, the exhibition speaks more broadly to the universal emotional and nostalgic connections we hold to familiar places and everyday surroundings.

Take a chance and cast your line by spinning our Drawing Wheel. Each spin lands on a surprise drawing prompt, inviting you to add a new element, texture, shape, creature, or environment to your artwork.
Just like a day on the water, you never know what you might reel in. As your drawing evolves with each spin, unexpected combinations and curious stories begin to surface. Perhaps a native fish sprouts wheels, a riverbank becomes a floating city, or a fishing lure transforms into an underwater treasure map. It's up to you!

The local fishmonger, or ‘Fisho’ is the source of inspiration for artist Jack Rodgers. Photographs of locals with their prized catches provide an entry point to reflect on the connections we establish with our surroundings - whether at familiar fishing spots or, in Rodgers’ case, through treasured family pilgrimages to the local fishmonger.
Drawing on this sense of place and nostalgia, Rodgers has created a series of works that explore fishing culture. From catching, selling and eating fish to fishing gear and tackle, the works also extend into the history of Brisbane’s fishmongers, including the State Fish Market at South Brisbane.
FISHO celebrates fishing not just as a pastime, but as a shared cultural experience that fosters community. While grounded in Rodgers’ personal story, the exhibition speaks more broadly to the universal emotional and nostalgic connections we hold to familiar places and everyday surroundings.

Join us for a free laser cutter induction at the Cleveland Library Makerspace. This induction is available only to library members who have already completed a Makerspace general safety induction. Please ensure you have completed the general safety induction before registering for this session.
This session will cover the essential knowledge and safety requirements necessary to operate the Emblaser Pro Laser Cutter safely and confidently. Once you have completed the induction, you will be able to book and use the laser cutter independently.

Long time Gallery member Hilary Wakeling along with a more recent member Dessi Balinova, are joined by guest multi-disciplined artist Malissa Johnson to present Novembers exhibition 'Wild Neighbourhood'
This excitingly diverse exhibition explores the abundance of wildlife living right next door to us - in our backyards, parklands and local bushlands.
The official opening night is on Saturday 7 November – 5.00 till 7.00pm – chat with the artists and enjoy drinks and nibbles on the verandah.

A wall of limited-sized paintings will be a feature each month in our Siding Gallery by local Redland Coast artists.

These classes are designed for all levels of fitness with lots of options offered. You go at your own pace and ability; there is no floor work and no pressure. The ages range from 50 to 80 and beyond so you are in good company. It includes cardio, resistance work (all equipment supplied), stretching and relaxation in a friendly and safe environment. After each class, there is an opportunity to socialize and get to know one another, by having a cuppa in a nearby café plus there are fun monthly social events if you wish to join in. Prices are $16/class and a one-off Intro Deal of $60 for 5 classes with further discount class passes offered. You only pay when you attend.
