Let's Talk About...Dying. Ordinary dying – what to expect, and what to do after a person dies

Community events In mainstream Western communities, many of us are fearful of what happens at the end of life. This free 2-hour in-person event provides a gentle exploration and discussion into the natural process of ordinary dying.  What are some of the more common symptoms that present with ordinary/natural, expected dying? , How we can create a more peaceful environment for the dying? , The sharing of some ideas on how to navigate what we need to do after a person dies (after death care, funerals)  , Information about tools that can assist family or Executors.  Please note: This is general information to build death literacy and this session does not provide individual medical or legal advice. It is however a gentle and informative opportunity to learn more about what to expect and what to do after a person dies and to ask questions and share over a cuppa. Every Saturday morning, the Museum blacksmiths light the forges and demonstrate the ancient craft at the anvils, using old world methods and tools made in the 19th century.
