African Adventure School Holiday Sports Program

Community events This coming July program is all about Africa. Our kids really do care and this is an opportunity for them to help and make a difference. The main program activities are centered on things African kids do for fun, the games they play, the sports they like and support, and also the traditional sports. , This is a great learning experience, but what kids really want is connection and meaning. So, on top of the above, we are going several steps further. We will have several avenues for donation or sponsorship in place: we are doing a skip-a-thon where children participate in an active challenge and collect donations which will be passed to African Hearts; we are doing a sports shoe collection for Shoes for Planet Earth, which depending on the number of shoes collected will most likely end up on the feet of our poorest here in Brisbane which is great; we will be doing a general shoe and clothes collection, which will be given to Hearts for Africa to sell in their thrift shop; and we will be raffling gift… Age range: Preschool Kids (2-5).
