These classes are designed for all levels of fitness with lots of options offered. You go at your own pace and ability; there is no floor work and no pressure. The ages range from 50 to 80 and beyond so you are in good company. It includes cardio, resistance work (all equipment supplied), stretching and relaxation in a friendly and safe environment. After each class, there is an opportunity to socialize and get to know one another, by having a cuppa in a nearby café plus there are fun monthly social events if you wish to join in. These classes are a bit lighter than my Over 50s Fitness and are designed for those who may never have exercised before, or did, but a long time ago or maybe have injuries. It is mainly seated with a little standing, where the chair offers support. You go at your own pace and ability; there is no floor work and no pressure. The ages range from 50 to 80 and beyond so you are in good company. It includes cardio, resistance work (all equipment supplied), stretching and relaxation in a friendly and safe environment. After each class, there is an opportunity to socialize and get to know one another, by having a cuppa in a nearby café plus there are fun monthly social events if you wish to join in. The Australian Industry Capability (AIC) Practitioner course aims to foster a broad understanding of AIC requirements across Defence and Defence Industry personnel. Bringing together professionals from both sectors, the course seeks to promote knowledge exchange and collaboration, enhancing the implementation of the AIC Program.
Participants will gain valuable insights into Defence Industry Policy, including how AIC is implemented and applied through the Australian Standard for Defence Contracting (ASDEFCON) framework. The course content has been designed to provide a detailed understanding of the AIC Program and equip participants with the necessary tools and knowledge to effectively implement and manage AIC components during the procurement and contract management phases.

Art Exhibition - 'Winter in Australia'

The talented members of our wonderful Gallery have put their creative juices to work to present you with a special exhibition in July titled ‘Winter in Australia’.
How is Australia unique in winter? How are we different to other parts of the world as far as winter goes? How are we different even state by state? – e.g. living here in Queensland compared to living in Tasmania?
Within Queensland from the tropical north with its ‘shivering’ 20+ degrees we can travel down to Warwick with their -1-degree frosty mornings and on to Applethorpe or Stanthorpe with their sometimes-snowy mornings!
What an amazing and diverse state and country we live in! Such contrasts!
The exhibition runs from the 2nd July to 2nd August.
The Gallery is open Thursdays to Sundays and public holidays, 9.30am – 4.30pm.
The official Opening Night is July 4th.

These classes are designed for all levels of fitness with lots of options offered. You go at your own pace and ability; there is no floor work and no pressure. The ages range from 50 to 80 and beyond so you are in good company. It includes cardio, resistance work (all equipment supplied), stretching and relaxation in a friendly and safe environment. After each class, there is an opportunity to socialize and get to know one another, by having a cuppa in a nearby café plus there are fun monthly social events if you wish to join in. Art Exhibition - 'Winter in Australia'

The talented members of our wonderful Gallery have put their creative juices to work to present you with a special exhibition in July titled ‘Winter in Australia’.
How is Australia unique in winter? How are we different to other parts of the world as far as winter goes? How are we different even state by state? – e.g. living here in Queensland compared to living in Tasmania?
Within Queensland from the tropical north with its ‘shivering’ 20+ degrees we can travel down to Warwick with their -1-degree frosty mornings and on to Applethorpe or Stanthorpe with their sometimes-snowy mornings!
What an amazing and diverse state and country we live in! Such contrasts!
The exhibition runs from the 2nd July to 2nd August.
The Gallery is open Thursdays to Sundays and public holidays, 9.30am – 4.30pm.
The official Opening Night is July 4th.
Everyone is welcome to come and meet the artists and enjoy drinks and nibbles on the verandahs.

Inspired by Mountain no Mountain, come and engage in role play, improvisation and storytelling to imagine saving the last tree on Earth. This free, all-ages workshop invites participants into an immersive drama experience exploring sustainability through creativity and play.
Set within a gallery environment, the workshop blends drama with creative art-making, encouraging participants to express ideas visually as well as physically. Through collaborative activities, it fosters ecological awareness, teamwork and empathy, empowering individuals to see themselves as active contributors to a sustainable future.
No experience needed—just imagination, curiosity and a willingness to explore together.
There will be two sessions of this workshop, so don't miss out!

How is Australia unique in winter? How are we different to other parts of the world as far as winter goes? How are we different even state by state? – e.g. living here in Queensland compared to living in Tasmania?
Within Queensland from the tropical north with its ‘shivering’ 20+ degrees we can travel down to Warwick with their -1-degree frosty mornings and on to Applethorpe or Stanthorpe with their sometimes-snowy mornings!
What an amazing and diverse state and country we live in! Such contrasts!
The exhibition runs from the 2nd July to 2nd August.

These classes are designed for all levels of fitness with lots of options offered. You go at your own pace and ability; there is no floor work and no pressure. The ages range from 50 to 80 and beyond so you are in good company. It includes cardio, resistance work (all equipment supplied), stretching and relaxation in a friendly and safe environment. After each class, there is an opportunity to socialize and get to know one another, by having a cuppa in a nearby café plus there are fun monthly social events if you wish to join in. Prices are $16/class and a one-off Intro Deal of $60 for 5 classes with further discount class passes offered. You only pay when you attend.
