Italian For Absolute Beginners

Community events There is no tuition fee for this weekly class apart from a small weekly venue hire. As the title of this course suggests, this course assumes you have little or no knowledge of Italian. Acquiring even basic proficiency in another language requires commitment which means a willingness to attempt the weekly set homework, as well as regular attendance. Studying a foreign language may never enable you to converse like a native, but research has shown that it is a powerful weapon against dementia, stimulating your brain in ways other mental activities cannot. We not only study one of the world’s most beautiful languages but also immerse ourselves in the rich culture of Italy. Our classes are on-going and are held in school term time only. Some of my advanced class have been studying with me for 10 years. This will be the last intake of new students I will be offering and places are limited.  For more details contact Greg at redlanduni@gmail.com. Event Type: Classes and workshops. Suburb: Cleveland. His charming four-year-old daughter only adds to his appeal. But ten years on, something important is missing from the life Coralie and Adam have built. Or maybe, having gained everything she dreamed of, Coralie has lost something else she once had: herself.  Set against an eventful British decade that included the soap opera of five prime ministers plus the chaos of the pandemic, Consider Yourself Kissed puts the subjects of love and family on a grand stage, showing how… Event Type: Classes and workshops.

Age range: Adults (30+). Seniors. Young adults (18-30). Monday, October 20, 2025, 11:30 AM – 1:00 PM. Redland Museum.

Culture and history. Food and drink. Free. Suburb: Cleveland. Age range: Adults (30+). Seniors. Young adults (18-30). Monday, October 27, 2025, 11:30 AM – 1:00 PM. Redland Museum.
