Restoration Friday
Join our team in tending to our beautiful community restoration area! Meet us every second Friday at Longview Point in Willow Springs Park and help steward the land by watering and tending to native plants, pulling invasive species, picking up litter, mulching, and maintaining trails. Please be mindful of park conditions and the weather; don't forget to prepare by applying sunscreen, wearing comfortable shoes, and bringing water.
Parking is available at 2745 Orange Ave. Long Beach or visit Long Beach Transit’s Trip Planner for information on how to arrive using public transit.

The eleven-member Climate Resilient and Sustainable City Commission advises the City Council on environmental issues such as buildings and neighborhoods, urban nature, transportation, water, energy, waste reduction, and eco products and services, and is responsible for creating a Sustainable City action plan.

Join us for the 8th Annual Ranchos Walk to hike the crest trail that links Rancho Los Alamitos and Rancho Los Cerritos! Choose between the 9, 6, or 3-mile hike options and enjoy access to a guided audio tour that highlights facts about the area’s history.
