Bixby Knolls Strollers is a neighborhood walking club that meets every Saturday morning at 7:15am at Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf (4105 Atlantic Ave). Coffee Bean sponsors the group and provides free coffee each week. Strollers members purchase additional drinks and treats each week. It’s a great way to get fit, check out the businesses, explore the neighborhoods, and meet your neighbors. Leashed dogs are welcome, also. The walks last for about an hour and the routes change weekly.

Farm Lot 59 Tour
Join us on the farm for a 1-hour tour of what's happening on Farm Lot 59. We will walk the field connect with nature and learn about sustainable agriculture practices. During the tour, you can ask all your questions about gardening, farming, and what you should be doing in your garden now. We will show you the importance of reducing waste, conserving resources, and protecting natural habitats. We will touch on our organic farming methods, such as crop rotation, composting, and natural pest control.
Please check in at the Farmstand when you arrive. All ages are welcome but everyone needs a ticket.
We suggest wearing sunscreen, a hat, flat shoes and bringing water. No beverages will be provided.

In celebration of Earth Day, the Aquarium of the Pacific is hosting an E-Waste Drive. Drop off your items along the side of the Aquarium on Aquarium Way (please look for the marked area with signage and cones). Aquarium staff in uniform will be there to meet you and we will do our best to assist you with unloading. You may drop off your items by car or on foot.
The following items will be accepted: televisions, monitors, computers/computer processors, laptops, telephones/cell phones, cameras/video cameras, printers/scanners, speakers, radio, BluRay/DVD/VHS/CD players, keyboards/computer mice, hard drives, CD/floppy drives, computer RAM, electrical cords, power supplies, motherboards, soundcards, graphic cards, projectors, batteries, light bulbs, microwaves, refrigerators, washer/dryers, ovens, toasters, vacuums, dishwashers, fans, blow dryers/curling irons, and heaters.
Please note we cannot accept motor oil, paint, and other toxic items with noxious chemicals.

Join our team in tending to our beautiful community restoration area! Meet us every second Friday from 3-4 pm at Longview Point in Willow Springs Park and help steward the land by watering and tending to native plants, pulling invasive species, picking up litter, mulching, and maintaining trails. Don't forget to bring sun protection, comfortable shoes, and a reusable water bottle.
