Racial and Public Health Equity Symposium: Cultivating the Public Health Equity Ecosystem
The Racial and Public Health Equity Symposium that will bring diverse communities together to bridge gaps and create connections to foster health equity across communities. The event will share best practices and strategies in responding to the findings raised in the Community Health Needs Assessments and will create learning communities that will help train and build capacity in our community leaders, students, city employees, public health practitioners, researchers, academics, and sponsors and foundations.

This Reentry Summit centers the voices of individuals with lived experience in the justice system, creating a space for education, inspiration, and meaningful dialogue. Featured are powerful keynote presentations and personal stories by formerly justice-involved individuals who have successfully rebuilt their lives, highlighting the power of education, the unique challenges of post-incarceration syndrome, and navigating successful reentry.

My Brother's Keeper Long Beach Summit
The My Brother's Keeper Long Beach Summit will convene invited changemakers from across Long Beach to explore bold, community-led strategies that improve safety, opportunity, and well-being for young people. Attendees will engage in thought-provoking discussions, hands-on learning, and the official launch of Long Beach 360, a collaborative framework designed to strengthen violence prevention through collective action.
The summit will be invitiation only, followed by a Community Resource Fair open to the public, connecting youth, families, and community members to local resources and opportunities.
