Santa’s Workshop

The City of Long Beach Department of Parks, Recreation and Marine will host a Santa’s Workshop holiday themed event on Saturday, Dec. 13, 2025, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Silverado Park (1545 W. 31st St.). This family-friendly event is part of the Neighbor-to-Neighbor program to bring community connection and engagement during the holiday season.   The community is invited to bring family and friends to take part in a day filled with holiday themed activities including carnival games, crafts, floral arranging, cookie decorating, balloon twisting, family recreation games, jumpers, temporary tattoos, educational stations, free opportunity drawings, prizes and photos with Santa. Cookies with Santa

The City of Long Beach Department of Parks, Recreation and Marine invites families to a “Cookies with Santa” event on Saturday, December 20, from 10 a.m. to noon at Ramona Park (3301 E. 65th St).     This cozy, family-friendly gathering brings neighbors together for a morning of festive fun and seasonal treats. Guests are welcome to enjoy cookie decorating, photo opportunities with Santa, light refreshments, and balloon crafts. This year’s event will also feature a new attraction—an 18-passenger trackless train, offering rides within a safe and contained area of the park for for young riders to enjoy. Department: Parks. Free Winter Fest

The City of Long Beach Department of Parks, Recreation and Marine, in collaboration with Long Beach Public Library, will host a family-friendly Winter Fest at Lincoln Park (101 Pacific Ave.) on Saturday, Dec. 20, 2025, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.       The City welcomes community members of all ages to attend Winter Fest at Lincoln Park, where visitors can enjoy a cup of hot chocolate and a variety of engaging winter activities. Try your hand at ice fishing, test your aim with a snowball toss, explore making arts and crafts, and visit with Santa at this family-friendly event. Winter Fest will offer opportunities for youth to decorate holiday cookies, create beaded craft holiday mementos, and display holiday spirit by having your face painted with snowflakes and other seasonal art and more. Long Beach Public Library will offer photo opportunities with Santa starting at 11:30 a.m. at the park and story time beginning at 1:30 p.m. Attendees can also enter a raffle for the chance to win prizes courtesy of the library.… Department: Parks.
