Dr. Woods is a Clinical Professor of Medicine and the Chief of Endocrinology at UC San Diego. She maintains a busy clinical practice focused on osteoporosis and metabolic bone disease, and she takes a comprehensive approach to musculoskeletal health—incorporating nutrition, exercise, and pharmacotherapy into individualized treatment plans. She is also deeply involved in medical education, serving as the Associate Program Director for the UCSD Endocrinology Fellowship Training Program.
