Join us for a facilitated discussion led by Mason Murphy from Career Services on “Career Support for Our International Students.” This session will explore common concerns international students face, effective strategies for supporting their career development, and ways faculty and staff can help foster a more inclusive career‑readiness environment.
Hosted through Career Services’ pilot Career Champion Network program, this event is open to all TXST faculty and staff—whether you’re a new Career Champion, considering joining the network, or simply passionate about better supporting our international student community. To ensure space for meaningful conversation and questions, participation is limited to 25 participants, and early registration is encouraged.
Coffee and light refreshments will be provided, and we will also have representation from the International Student & Scholar Services (ISSS) Office as well.

Student employees tremendously help departments and the university with the operations and functions of our campus. We want to appreciate you for all your hard work and dedication to making our campus run smoothly.
At this stop and go reception, you will enjoy free food, free swag, and a photo booth!
At 5:00 there will be a small ceremony to recognize the nominees for the Student Employee Recognition Awards and announce the Student Employee of the Year winners! These awards are selected by a committee and nominations are received from supervisors across campus.
Come enjoy some food, refreshments, and get to meet other students on campus. Snappy casual attire is recommended, but not required.
