SOLD OUT: Intro to Film Editing (Non-Credit Workshop)

In this post-production focused workshop, students will receive an introduction to the role of the “editor” within a narrative film framework. Throughout the course, students will learn foundational editing tools and concepts - from project creation and organization to generating a final edited sample of their work - using Adobe Premiere Pro software. With footage provided in class, all students will get a hands-on opportunity to cut their own version of a scripted scene. By the end of the course, students will have gained a better understanding of the editing process and terminology that will prepare them for an apprentice level role on future collaborative projects. … Type of Event: One-time event. Critical Conversations - Leadership Training for Managers (Fall 2024)
