Sarcoma Stomp: Run for Research
Community Events
We run this race in honor of Bo Arvin, 27yr old Son, Brother, Uncle, and Friend, who was loyal, funny and had a deep faith in God. Bo succumbed to sarcoma October 20, 2018. Bo was not a stranger to cancer having endured treatment for lymphoma, having relapsed in High school. However, sarcoma was a beast that could not be beat. On the day of his sarcoma diagnosis, he was told he had no options for treatment, and was given 6-9 months to live. He died 7 months after that. Throughout those seven months he had a fierce determination to not only live, never let his spirit or his humor be crushed, but encouraged his medical team to try treatments and other options, so no other person would have to hear the words, "Not treatment" or " No cure".

St. Louis Cure Sarcoma 6K
Community Events
Virtual Participants Can Participate From Any Location, At Any Time That Is Convenient For You, October 13th - October 31st! Please Share Your Pictures & Tag Us On Social Media!
The St. Louis Cure Sarcoma 6K fundraiser was created by a group of individuals directly affected by Sarcoma. We are a group of Sarcoma warriors, survivors, loved ones of those lost, and relatives of those still fighting. Regardless of our different journeys with this disease, we all have one thing in common: We have all been affected by the lack of Sarcoma research and limited treatment options for Sarcoma patients. We created this group with the assistance of our oncologist, Brian Van Tine, M.D. Ph.D. to fund research through our Annual STL Cure Sarcoma 6K Run/Walk. We strongly believe in Dr. Van Tine’s research and have made it a priority to reserve half of the proceeds of this event to benefit his research lab at Washington University in St. Louis. We use the other half of the proceeds to support nationwide Sarcoma research.

The Skippo Trail Race 10k

It was at Skip’s urging, wanting to involve as many runners as possible both beginner and seasoned, that we added two more options, the 10k and the 30k and make a weekend of the event with events both Saturday and Sunday.
