Thirsty Thursday 5k

Community Events Good News: Thirsty Thursdays are back again for 2022! Fleet Feet St. Louis & Good News Brewing will once again host a series of timed 5K pub runs so we can enjoy two of our favorite activities: running and beer! One Thursday a month from March through October, we will have a professionally timed race on the Katy Trail from Good News Brewing in Defiance, MO. The course will be an out and back on the Katy Trail with an open start line format to allow for social distancing and commute times. All registrants 21 & older will receive a free beer from Good News for some post-race refreshment, and Good News will also be offering extended bar hours and a pizza buffet for purchase. With every step you take, you are directly supporting the charitable activities of the Edwardsville Rotary Club. The Edwardsville Rotary Downtown Dash is a running event within the lineup of Criterium cycling races. Your participation will raise money for the Edwardsville Rotary Club. I Love Forest Park 5k

Community Events Forest Park Forever is set to host another annual I Love Forest Park 5K Race scheduled for Sunday, August 22, 2021. It’s the only race in the Park that benefits the Park! Partnering again with Big River Running, we are excited to bring back an in-person race experience as well as keeping our virtual option. The in-person component will look a little different than as in years past, but we are thrilled to return the more traditional race experience. Forest Park Forever will be continuously monitoring the safety guidelines set by the CDC and the St. Louis City and will be making the final decisions around the race’s safety protocols by Monday, August 2. All registered participants will receive a race packet which includes the 2021 limited edition I Love Forest Park T-shirt. The packet pick up will be held on Friday, August 20 and Saturday, August 21 at the Visitor Center in Forest Park. More detailed information will be emailed out upon registration. Ballwin Days 5k

Community Events The 2021 Ballwin Days Run marks the 40th anniversary of this traditional event. The Ballwin Days 5K, 1 Mile Adult and 1 Mile Youth Runs will take place on Sunday, August 22. The 5K will start at 8:00am with the 1 mile races immediately after completion of 5K, approximately 9am. Register by July 31 to guarantee your shirt size. Corps of Discovery Half Marathon and 5 Mile

Community Events St. Louis Track Club is excited to invite everyone to join the 2022 Corps of Discovery Half Marathon and 5-mile trail races, held in the beautiful Weldon Spring Conservation Area on Sept 4th, 2021.  Course Description: The course will cover approximately 13.1 miles and begin from the Lewis & Clark trailhead in the Weldon Spring Conservation Area off Hwy 94. Half marathon participants will first run the 8-mile Lewis trail and then the 5-mile Clark trail. The course will travel counterclockwise and will not be closed to outside use. There will be markings along the course and a volunteer where the trails split. The 5-mile option will cover 1 loop of the Clark trail. The trail winds itself along the bluffs of the Missouri River down the hardwood-lined ridges and into the hollows so all participants will have something to enjoy.  Become a member of the St. Louis Track Club and get an additional discount on registration. Belleville Main Street Marathon

Community Events Both courses will be certified, with the full marathon being a Boston Marathon-qualifying course. The FULL MARATHON will be on about 16 miles of city streets, including America's longest Main Street, and about 10 miles on the St. Clair County Transit District's paved biking/walking trail. The HALF MARATHON will be on city streets, including America's longest Main Street. Full marathon participants must be at mile 13 by 10:23 AM or they will be transported by an official race vehicle to another point on the course and allowed to cross the finish line with an unofficial time and to receive a finisher medal. Half marathon particpants must complete the course by 10:30 AM to receive an official race time, although they will be eligible for a medal upon course completion. Event Type: Meeting. Performance. Piggyback Dash

Community Events All proceeds from the race will benefit The Lance Purschke Memorial Scholarship Fund. Join us for the 6th Annual Piggyback Dash. Enjoy a beautiful, rolling course through the streets of Union with a challenging but rewarding finish at the top of Autumn Hill. The 10K and the 5K runners will start at the same time. The 5K is a single loop course. As the 5K runners make the last turn onto Autumn Hill Drive the 10K runners will continue straight and proceed to run an additional 3 miles through Union. Aid stations will be provided along the 5K and 10K routes. Post race refreshments will also be provided. The 10K and 5K are chip timed events and medals will be awarded. The 2K (1.2 mile) fun run/walk will not be officially timed and no medals will be provided. As an added twist, once runners reach the bottom of Autumn Hill they have the opportunity to carry someone piggyback up the hill to the finish line. This is completely voluntary. Harvest Moon Run

Community Events The 11th Annual Harvest Moon run takes place in Historic Route 66 State Park on Saturday, September 24, 2022. Proceeds benefit the Eureka-Pacific Elks Lodge Weekend Backpack Food Program as well as Agape House-Pacific, Eureka Food Pantry, Feed My People-High Ridge, and Peace Pantry-Cedar Hill. Runners and walkers alike will enjoy the paved flat course through Route 66 State Park for this fantastic night event. St. Charles Oktoberfest

Community Events The 11th Annual Race at the Saint Charles Oktoberfest will feature fast and flat 5K and 10K distances throughout the historic St. Charles area. The course winds through the best of what St. Charles has to offer - including the Katy Trail, historic Main Street and Frenchtown District. The races finish at one of the biggest riverfront festivals in St. Charles - The St. Charles Oktoberfest! All 5K and 10K registrants will receive a commemorative medal, shirt, and custom race bib. Blacktoberfest Twilight Run

Community Events Beyond Housing is hosting the first annual Twilight Run as part of the first ever St. Louis Blacktoberfest!  Join us for a FREE 1 mile run or 5K through the 24:1 Community. The route will start at The Page (at the corner of Page and Ferguson Ave.) and take you through Pagedale where you can see some of the exciting things happening in the community like Carter Commons where the race will end. After your run please join us for Blacktoberfest, an amazing celebration of the Black community’s cultural connection to beer, food, art and entertainment. Community Events Good News: Thirsty Thursdays are back again for 2022! Fleet Feet St. Louis & Good News Brewing will once again host a series of timed 5K pub runs so we can enjoy two of our favorite activities: running and beer! One Thursday a month from March through October, we will have a professionally timed race on the Katy Trail from Good News Brewing in Defiance, MO. The course will be an out and back on the Katy Trail with an open start line format to allow for social distancing and commute times. She Runs- Women's Morning Run

Calling all women! RunWell and Farm Girl Fit are partnering to bring you a weekly morning run just for YOU! All paces and distances are welcome (the group will run/walk 3-5 miles). We will meet at Yummy's Donut Palace in Edwardsville, right by the MCT Bike Trail. They will be open and they offer bathrooms for our use. Bring your own water and any nutrition you need for the run. We will head out promptly at 5:30am to be respectful of everyone's time, so come ready to run at 5:30am. After the run, enjoy pastries, coffee, breakfast burritos, and more at Yummy's! Wednesday Night Run!

Join us for a Wednesday night group run! We are back to meeting at the store for our weekly Run/Drink Wednesday! Join us at 6:30pm for a group run down the beautiful MCT Trails. The route is out and back, so feel free to go as far (or not) as you want. After the run, we'll enjoy food and beverages at a local downtown establishment (optional), so bring a dry shirt and some $$! All paces and distances are welcome. Bring a friend, or make a new one! We hope to see you! Registration is no longer required. NOTE: Please sign our waiver the first time you attend and then you are good to go for the year.
