Energy Law Lecture Presents: Micheal Dobbs – Texas Pacific Land Corporation. Micheal Dobbs is Senior Vice President, Secretary and General Counsel of Texas Pacific Land Corporation.  Prior to joining TPL in 2020, Mr. Dobbs was an equity partner at Kelley Drye & Warren LLP and managing partner of the Houston, Texas office.  He received his Bachelor of Science degree in Rangeland Ecology and Management from Texas A&M University and his law degree from the University of Houston Law Center. Terry Grantham Memorial Guest Lecturer is in honor of Terry Grantham. A devoted community member, Terry received his law degree from Texas Tech University in 1982. He was a partner at Craig, Terrill, Hale & Grantham where he specialized in real estate and oil and gas law. Loewy Lecture-"Ethics in the digital age -Legal Counsel in an Era of Disruptive Technologies”

Please join us for this Springs Loewy Lecture April 20th in the Lanier Auditorium at Noon.   Arnold Loewy was the first professor to hold the Texas Tech School of Law's new George R. Killam Jr. Chair of Criminal Law; Loewy initiated a series of annual symposiums in the area of criminal law or criminal procedure. In addition to his work on the annual symposiums, Loewy taught a Supreme Court seminar and courses in criminal law, criminal procedure, and the First Amendment. TTU School of Law established a lecture series in honor of Professor Loewy's tremendous contributions to the field of criminal law and to Texas Tech University School of Law following his passing in 2021.
