FMI Public Speaker Series – Immigration Policy in Trump's America – Alex Nowrasteh
The Free Market Institute will host Alex Nowrasteh (Cato Institute) for a lecture based on ‘Mass Deportations, Visas, and Due Process: Immigration Policy .’ The program will take place on Tuesday, October 28, 2025, from 5:30-6:30 PM in the International Cultural Center (ICC) – Auditorium (601 Indiana Avenue).
Donald J. Trump won reelection in 2024 in large part because of the country’s reaction to border chaos. Even more so than his first term, the second Trump term will radically overhaul American legal and illegal immigration. Alex Nowrasteh will explain the Trump administration’s immigration policies and the effects of mass deportations, increased border security, more visa regulations, and reduced legal immigration.
