Weekly April 28 - June 9, 2026, from 2:00-3:00pm.
Planning AHEAD is an end-of-life planning curriculum for all ages developed by UW–Madison Division of Extension faculty and staff. This 7-session, research-based program will help participants understand how to prepare for the end of life for themselves or a loved one, and why it’s important to have a plan in place.
This program and workbook were designed for residents in Wisconsin and is specific to Wisconsin law. If you are not a resident of Wisconsin, please refer to your state’s laws around Advanced Medical and Legal Directives and Estate Planning.
While the class is free, there is a charge of $30 for the printed workbook and shipping costs. If you would like to print the workbook at home or use a fillable, online version, the electronic download of the workbook is free of charge.

WeCOPE (Connecting with Our Positive Emotions)
WeCOPE is an evidence-based program that helps adults cope with life stress. This course is based on the positive emotions research of Dr. Judith Moskowitz which has shown that connecting with positive emotions reduces stress and depression, increases positive feelings, and improves healthy habits.
The program runs for six weeks, with one-hour sessions each week. During these sessions, participants learn and practice 11 self-care and coping skills such as gratitude, self-compassion, everyday mindfulness strategies, labeling feelings, acts of kindness, goal setting, and more. These skills help participants manage stress with healthy strategies and bring more positive emotions into their daily lives to reduce the impact of their stressors.

WeCOPE (Connecting with Our Positive Emotions)
WeCOPE is an evidence-based program that helps adults cope with life stress. This course is based on the positive emotions research of Dr. Judith Moskowitz which has shown that connecting with positive emotions reduces stress and depression, increases positive feelings, and improves healthy habits.
The program runs for six weeks, with one-hour sessions each week. During these sessions, participants learn and practice 11 self-care and coping skills such as gratitude, self-compassion, everyday mindfulness strategies, labeling feelings, acts of kindness, goal setting, and more. These skills help participants manage stress with healthy strategies and bring more positive emotions into their daily lives to reduce the impact of their stressors.

WeCOPE (Connecting with Our Positive Emotions)
WeCOPE is an evidence-based program that helps adults cope with life stress. This course is based on the positive emotions research of Dr. Judith Moskowitz which has shown that connecting with positive emotions reduces stress and depression, increases positive feelings, and improves healthy habits.
The program runs for six weeks, with one-hour sessions each week. During these sessions, participants learn and practice 11 self-care and coping skills such as gratitude, self-compassion, everyday mindfulness strategies, labeling feelings, acts of kindness, goal setting, and more. These skills help participants manage stress with healthy strategies and bring more positive emotions into their daily lives to reduce the impact of their stressors.

StrongBodies at the Madison Senior Center - Summer 2026
StrongBodies is a community-based, physical-activity program that supports healthy aging across the lifespan and is open to anyone interested in this fitness education. StrongBodies offers twice-weekly sessions led by trained instructors. Participants follow a structured plan to strengthen all major muscle groups, working to gradually increase the weights used. Mental Health First Aid for the Agriculture Community
The University of Wisconsin–Madison Division of Extension is offering a virtual education program to help the Wisconsin agriculture community identify and respond to a variety of behavioral health challenges. Mental Health First Aid for the Agriculture Community
The University of Wisconsin–Madison Division of Extension is offering a virtual education program to help the Wisconsin agriculture community identify and respond to a variety of behavioral health challenges. The next virtual Mental Health First Aid (MHFA) for the agriculture community is scheduled for Tuesday and Wednesday, July 28-29, 2026, from 12:30 – 3:30 p.m. via the Zoom platform.

WeCOPE (Connecting with Our Positive Emotions)
WeCOPE is an evidence-based program that helps adults cope with life stress. This course is based on the positive emotions research of Dr. Judith Moskowitz which has shown that connecting with positive emotions reduces stress and depression, increases positive feelings, and improves healthy habits.
The program runs for six weeks, with one-hour sessions each week. During these sessions, participants learn and practice 11 self-care and coping skills such as gratitude, self-compassion, everyday mindfulness strategies, labeling feelings, acts of kindness, goal setting, and more. These skills help participants manage stress with healthy strategies and bring more positive emotions into their daily lives to reduce the impact of their stressors.

Parents Forever
Parents Forever is an educational class for parents and caregivers in the process of divorce, already divorced, or never married but separating. In this class, you will learn how family transitions affect children and how children experience family conflict. You will learn how to care for yourself during your family transition and how to prevent and reduce conflict.
**Please Note: This class may or may not meet the requirement for court mandated co-parenting classes for divorcing parents. Please confirm with your county before registering for this class for that purpose.
