History Through a Lens Workshop for 5th - 8th graders. This 3-class workshop is being held on three Saturdays: August 23, September 13, and September 27 from 10 am- 11:30 am. Question-Persuade-Refer (QPR) is an evidence-based training for the general public (ages 16+). We encourage everyone to receive the training! Learn how to reach out to someone who may be struggling and provide life-saving support. The training includes videos, a slideshow, and a group role play. For 2025, we are offering this training for free bimonthly on last Fridays from 12-1:30pm. Please note that at least 5 attendees are required for a training to take place. We also ask you not to attend any suicide prevention training if you have been personally affected by suicide in the past 6 months. Free First Saturdays

First Saturdays are a great opportunity to experience what we have to offer at the Westport Museum free of charge on the first Saturday of each month. Young visitors can enjoy a scavenger hunt in the museum, the diorama of Westport featuring an audio tour by Joanne Woodward, coloring pages, colonial games and more.
