In Off Our Chests, Liza vividly details her treatment, her feelings of desperation and vulnerability, the complex decisions she had to make from mastectomy to chemotherapy and radiation, and finally the elective removal of her other breast—all experienced in the sometimes uncomfortably public setting of being treated at her husband’s cancer center. John’s experience as a caregiver forces him to rethink everything he has learned and teaches as a leader in cancer care. PINK FLOYD: THE WALL movie @ REMARKABLE DRIVE-IN THEATER

Written by Pink Floyd vocalist and bass player Roger Waters, directed by Alan Parker, this musical psychological drama refracts the trauma rock-star Pink experiences after his father’s death. Pink Floyd: The Wall developed a cult following, with fans relating the film to the album it’s based off with its figurative style. Known for its dark animation scenes, imagery of mental isolation, and rare dialogue, this movie transcends both album and film by combining the emotion, story-telling, and metaphor of each. Fan theories speculate the main character being based off the writer of the film, though some believe Pink to be a version of the founder of the band, Syd Barrett. Doors open at 5:30pm! Doubt

Sister Aloysius, a school principal with a mandate to uphold tradition, is certain something’s terribly wrong about the relationship between a young parish priest and a troubled boy. But beneath her moral crusade to reveal the horrible truth lies a chasm of doubt, where the choices we make can reverberate beyond our imagining. Winner of the 2005 Pulitzer Prize for Drama and the Tony Award for Best Play, Doubt: A Parable was adapted for a film starring Meryl Streep as Sister Aloysius and Philip Seymour Hoffman as Father Flynn in 2008. We hope that this quiet, dramatic play starts conversations across generations, across faiths, and invites all those in our community to engage with us. Also streaming online from November 11-21. To attend in-person performances, all audience members must present proof of vaccination and where a mask at all times while inside. Category: Theater. Friday, November 12, 2021, 8:00 PM – 9:00 PM.
