National Bullying Prevention Month Workshops

A Beautiful Me, an area non-profit focused on providing guidance and mentorship and fostering self-esteem for females of all ages, is offering free anti-cyber bullying workshops for girls 6th through 12th grade and their parents. The events will take place Monday October 25 and repeated on Thursday October 28th from 5:45-7:00 p.m. at the Macomb MSU Extension Center. The sessions are being held in conjunction with Macomb County Community Health and address a growing problem portrayed in the new Mark Wahlberg movie, “Joe Bell,” which tells the true tragic tale of the bullying of Bell’s high school student son.
