The Basketball Tournament (TBT) returns to Charlottesville for the 2025 regional, hosted at John Paul Jones Arena! This single-elimination, winner-take-all tournament features top talent and a $1 million prize for the champion. The regional will be headlined by “Embrace The Pace,” a UVA alumni team led by Virginia legend Kyle Guy. Thanks to TBT’s new Home Court Advantage Model, the UVA alumni could potentially play all the way through the championship on their home court.

Archaeology in Action at Monticello invites visitors to witness and engage with ongoing archaeological excavations at this UNESCO World Heritage site. 20-minute discussions offered daily Monday-Friday at 11am and 1pm, weather permitting. THURSDAYS and FRIDAYS: Join archaeologists for a 45-minute walking tour that explores what we've learned from current and past excavations on the historic mountaintop.

Rivanna Roots is a beloved family-friendly outdoor concert series held on the scenic banks of the Rivanna River.
