MCCS 2-Mile Donut Dash
Lace up, sugar up, and embrace the chaos because this isn’t your average beach run. It’s two miles of sandy shenanigans, donut‑powered determination, and the kind of nonsense that makes you wonder why every workout doesn’t come with a sweet treat.
Dash (at your own pace) through 2 miles with 2–3 donut stations daring you to run, chew, and possibly question your life choices. Afterwards, roll straight into an after‑party with food and zero judgment. Don't miss out on another sweet experience!
Cost is $35 per person and includes a shirt and post-run sweet treats. Runners must register before April 1 to guarantee your shirt. This event is pet and stroller-friendly and open to all authorized patrons with base access. Race day parking will be at the Sand Dollar Pavilion. Registration/sign-in and t-shirt pickup will be held from 8-8:45AM, run/walk 9AM. On-site registration will be available on the day of the event.

MCCS Twilight Turtle 5K
Experience the magic of a nighttime beach run at the MCCS Twilight Turtle 5K! Hosted on our beloved Onslow Beach, this event invites participants to run along the sandy coastline as the sun dips below the horizon. Whether you’re chasing a PR or just soaking in the scenery, this twilight run blends the thrill of night running with the calm of a moonlit shoreline. The race kicks off just before sunset, giving participants a front‑row seat to the stunning shift from day to dusk. Register now and be part of something unforgettable.
