Yoga will be held from 5:30pm - 6:30pm: Beginners will learn the basics and advanced students can explore what comes up in their practice at a slower pace as we revisit the fundamentals of yoga. Question, Persuade and Refer (QPR) Training
QPR stands for Question, Persuade, and Refer — the three simple steps anyone can learn to help save a life from suicide. Just as people trained in CPR and the Heimlich Maneuver help save thousands of lives each year, people trained in QPR learn how to recognize the warning signs of a suicide crisis and how to question, persuade, and refer someone to help.
This is a critical training opportunity for all health professionals.
Upon completion, participants will receive a certification in this area.
This event is eligible for community service hours for TCDM students.
