The Virtual Career Center (VCC), New York State’s premier online job search site, is designed to help people find their next career. Through advanced artificial intelligence (AI), job seekers can more accurately match their skills and experience to opportunities available with New York businesses.
In the Virtual Career Center you can upload a resume, apply for positions, and explore training opportunities to step up in your career. This workshop will help you learn how to navigate the site and get the most out of the tool for your job search.

Everyone encounters situations where public speaking skills are necessary. It could be at work, school, or in other social settings. For many people, public speaking can be difficult, nerve wracking, and can cause a lot of stress. This workshop will cover several techniques to help approach public speaking in a practical way and to help conquer fear.
Tips on using public speaking skills during an interview and how to recover from disasters that may occur during the interview, will also be discussed.
