Sloan Museum of Discovery and Longway Planetarium’s 7th annual Mix and Mingle Under the Stars will take place at Longway Planetarium on Wednesday, April 15, 2026, from 5:30 pm-7:30 pm. Enjoy tastes of local food, cocktails, ciders, wine, and beer served up by Genesee County’s favorite chefs and brewers! This casual, fun event will also feature a silent auction. Mix and Mingle Under the Stars supports our outreach initiatives and helps our daily operations. This event also helps open doors to thousands of underserved kids so they can attend educational programs and engage in history and science.

Stargazers can come back to this show again and again to find out about recent astronomical events and for seasonal updates on what's visible in the night sky over Michigan.
