“Bridging the Co-/Curricular Divide: Painlessly Incorporating Spartan Ready Competency Rubrics into Your Blackboard Workflow”

Center for Teaching and Learning (CTL) UT’s “Spartan Ready” initiative seeks to infuse universal competency development into all facets of the student experience, but success depends, in part, on faculty making purposeful and transparent connections between competencies and course objectives. Participants should come to this session having reviewed the list of Spartan Ready competencies (https://www.ut.edu/campus-life/leadership/engage/spartan-ready) and identifying one course (or one assessment within a course) that they believe is a good match with at least one skill area. All participants will be asked to work directly within their own fall course Blackboard sites, and will be guided through the process of uploading, editing, deploying, and using ready-made rubrics to seamlessly incorporate Spartan Ready into their existing academic workflows. Online Location: Zoom. Type of Event: Center for Teaching and Learning (CTL). Open to Public: No. Contact Name: Ayanna Stewart. Contact Email: amstewart@ut.edu. Contact Phone Number: (813) 257-3686. Wednesday, August 17, 2022, 12:00 PM – 1:00 PM. For more info visit tinyurl.com.
