Poll Everywhere - In this session we will learn how to create and use Poll Everywhere activities. Poll Everywhere is a great tool for creating engaging class activities, discussions, assessments, attendance tracking and other things. We will also demonstrate the use of the Poll Everywhere PowerPoint plugin that allows you to insert Poll Everywhere activities into your PPT presentations.

Gradescope is a multi-faceted online tool for managing paper-based assignments and exams. Paper-based exams are a particularly good choice for large classes that are taking exams in a single classroom at the same time. One of the assignment types that Gradescope supports is an auto-grading bubble sheet tool. This tool serves as a replacement for the discontinued Scantron service. In this session we will learn how to use the bubble sheet feature for multiple choice exams. We will also demonstrate Gradescope's dynamic rubrics tool, a tremendous time-saver that also promotes grading consistency.
Gradescope can be a very helpful tool for instructors concerned about generative AI use on exams and assignments.
