Portland Timbers Game

GDB Community Events Join local Guide Dogs for the Blind puppy raisers on September 5th when the Portland Timbers face Minnesota United at Providence Park in Portland. Our wonderful puppy raising volunteers will be in the Community Plaza before the match to chat with soccer and GDB fans about volunteering or supporting our mission in other ways! The match kicks off at 7:30, and GDB will be acknowledged via in-stadium and video board announcements. OREGON Guide Dog Experience Day- EVENT FULL

GDB Experience Day Join us for a hands-on workshop for individuals who are blind or visually impaired, offering an opportunity to explore what it’s like to live and work with a guide dog. Participants will receive self-assessment tools and resources to help determine if the guide dog lifestyle is the right choice for them. Important Considerations and Requirements, GDB's Guide Dog Experience Day is designed for individuals who are blind or have visual impairments. Family members and blindness professionals are welcome to attend in a support role. All sessions are presented in a group setting using an adult learning format and are recommended for ages 14 and older. Please note: attendees under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian, teacher, or social service professional for the duration of the event. Campus Location: Oregon. GDB Experience Day Join us for a hands-on workshop for individuals who are blind or visually impaired, offering an opportunity to explore what it’s like to live and work with a guide dog. Participants will receive self-assessment tools and resources to help determine if the guide dog lifestyle is the right choice for them. Important Considerations and Requirements, GDB's Guide Dog Experience Day is designed for individuals who are blind or have visual impairments. Family members and blindness professionals are welcome to attend in a support role. All sessions are presented in a group setting using an adult learning format and are recommended for ages 14 and older. Please note: attendees under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian, teacher, or social service professional for the duration of the event. Campus Location: California. GDB Experience Day Join us for a hands-on workshop for individuals who are blind or visually impaired, offering an opportunity to explore what it’s like to live and work with a guide dog. Participants will receive self-assessment tools and resources to help determine if the guide dog lifestyle is the right choice for them.
