Strawberry & Tulip Picking at Sweet Berry Farm
Sweet Berry Farm is open for the spring season! Pick your own strawberries through around mid-May and pick your own tulips through possibly the end of March, depending on weather and plants. All of the spring activities are open. No admission or parking fees for strawberry picking. Tulip fields require a $5 entry fee. The farm is open from 8:30 a.m.-5:30 p.m. Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday, and Saturday and 1-5 p.m. Sunday. It's closed on Wednesdays. Check the farm's Fresh News page for daily updates.

Regular games start at 7 p.m. and payouts are roughly 75 percent of pay-ins. There are 7 regular games that come in packets with 3, 6, or 12 cards per page at $8, $15, and $20, respectively. The Highland Lakes VFW Post 6974 hosts charity bingo Mondays and Thursdays from 6-9 p.m. Doors open at 4 p.m.; sale starts at 5 p.m. Early birds begin at 6 p.m.; includes 6 games at $1 per card that pays $50 and 1 double action game at $2 per card that pays $100. Regular games start at 7 p.m. and payouts are roughly 75 percent of pay-ins. There are 7 regular games that come in packets with 3, 6, or 12 cards per page at $8, $15, and $20, respectively. There are also 3 speed mini-games at $1 per card. The VFW tries to play as many pull tabs as it can get in a session that range from $100 to $1,000 payouts. Kitchen open with food and snacks; canteen serves beer and wine.
