Paddle - Black creek at Churchville Park

This is always a really nice paddle!!!  We'll launch our boats at the new launch site in the park - paddle to the left for an hour, then raft up for snacks and return to our put in.  , The entrance to the park is on the south side of the bridge - Park St. - it is across from a cemetery a left turn.  Once on Park St. stay to the right and you'll see the park and the launch site over to your right.   , Sometimes folks bring a lunch and sit at the picnic tables to eat after the paddle - you're welcome to do this. ;Geneva Paddle fest

Geneva Business improvement committee has asked ADK to help with their "paddle fest" at Seneca Lake.  We will be volunteering to help on land (explaining how to paddle safely, how to wear PFD's, how to launch boats etc. ) on the water (keeping an eye on non-experienced boater) or just being there for support.  We will have an ADK table set up to talk with folks about our organization.  , Volunteers are needed to help at any point throughout the day.  Please give Peg a call or email if able to help. I would anticipate the total mieage of the paddle to be in the range of 8 - 10 miles. , Afterwards, those interested will stop at Reeses Dairy bar for ice cream (this is Peg's stop!!!), , From… Region: Genesee Valley Region.
