Tuesday Hike (Hybrid)-Durand Eastman Park-East Side
Hybrid hike split between a 45-minute hike at a slower pace on park roads and trails with some gradual elevation changes as we hike around the Arboretum looping back to the cars, followed by a second hike at a faster pace along Eastman and Durand Lakes, then some hills in the middle of the park. Meet at 9:45am in the parking near the Durand Eastman Park Office/Maintenance Bldg (43.23196, -77.55616) at 100 Zoo Rd off Lakeshore Blvd for a 10:00am hike start. Please dress for the weather, wear boots or trail shoes with good traction and bring some water to drink. Hiking poles would be useful on the steeper sections. Women's Hike - Pittsford Challenge
Let's hike a little longer than usual - 6 miles instead of the usual 4 using mostly wooded trails adjacent to farms and suburbs in the town of Pittsford. Want to increase your step count before the holidays come? Join us on this challenge.
Starting at the Pittsford Dog Park parking lot, there'll be two tiny hills and a short road walk to the start of the flat, stone dust/gravel Auburn Trail south of the canal. After the first 4.5 miles out-and-back ends back in the parking lot, we'll continue east on the undulating Simon Stone's Mill Trail to the site where Irondequoit Creek passes under the Great Embankment, then return to the cars.

Sunday Hike - Crescent Trail Loop from Lyndon Rd
Meet at the Crescent Trail parking lot on the east side of Lyndon Road, south of the Erie Canal and 0.4 mile north of Ayrault Road, 43.0858; -77.4019, Town of Perinton. We'll meet at 8:45 for a 9 AM start for this loop hike along part of the Town of Perinton's Crescent and connected Trails. We'll hike east of Lyndon Road and return. This is a flat hike, with usually a little mud in the beginning. We'll see water and woods. Bring water and a snack, dress for the weather, but please leave your dogs at home.
Additional Information: the Sunday Hikes are offered as a benefit to current and potential new members of ADK. All our hikes have a steady pace, so are not "nature strolls" but they are also not "endurance tests" although we do at times hike at a brisk pace. Bring plenty to drink. Equally important is the proper footwear, gear and clothing for changing conditions.
