Paddle - Pine Creek

This trip was a lot of fun last year!!!  It is weather dependent.  On Saturday we will be paddling a section of the creek that is beautiful and not the white water that is associated with "Pine Creek".  Last year the water was high enough, we did not have to deal with rocks but at different water levels that can be an issue.  You will NOT want to bring your lightweight kevlar boats!!!  If the water levels are not good, there is a plan B - to paddle nearby lakes. , If folks want to stay and paddle Sunday there are a number of options.  Scott Lee can help folks paddle through the more aggressive areas of the creek (in boats, rafts etc(rentals).  There are lovely hiking and biking trails if you choose not to paddle or other places to paddle nearby.  Sunday is NOT an ADK event!! , Some folks drove down Saturday morning last year (about 1 1/2 to 2 hour drive), some rented an air b&b and I think some stayed in motel.  Camping is an option also but chilly!! , Please let us know if you are planning to… Region: Genesee Valley Region.
