Paddle Sodus Bay

The launch onto Sodus Bay is a sandy beach, directly next to the US Coast Guard Station. Large free parking lot, modern rest rooms. The bay can have heavy boat traffic so we'll likely hug the shoreline, counter clock-wise, circumventing the majority of the bay as far south to Nicholas Point. Optional extension of a 3rd hour onto Lake Ontario if conditions permit. Might want to bring a lunch. PFD required, hydration and sun protection recommended. RSVP by email to be notified if canceled due to weather or high winds. Non-ADK members are restricted to 2 outings per season. Hosted By: Genesee Valley Chapter. Region: Genesee Valley Region.
