Star Field Trail, Cooperstown
Star Field Trail starts from Chicken Farm Hill and goes north through a nicely forested area providing plenty of shade on a well-maintained path. You'll come across several points where you can enjoy views of a small pond and creek, and through an open field, you can even see Otsego Lake in the distance. Walking sticks and bug spray will make the hike more comfortable.

Kelly Hollow Trail
This loop passes a scenic stream and leads to a beaver pond. Along the way, there is an Adirondack lean-to shelter to camp at. The trail is marked with yellow markers and is a designated cross-country ski trail in the winter months.
