The hike is 5.1 miles round trip with an elevation gain of 1,257'. The climb starts easy to the crossing of Slide Brook then becomes a steady climb to a junction at 2.4 miles. The last 0.2 mile is a steep climb to the summit. The summit has wide open views to almost all directions.
