Rte 177/Barnes Corners/John Young Trail Cleanup
This year, we’re combining our favorite events for a day of stewardship and family fun!
We’ll kick things off at the Barnes Corners Trails parking lot before splitting into two crews:
, The Highway Crew: Heading out for an Adopt-A-Highway cleanup along Route 177. The Trail Crew: Venturing into the John Young trail system for some light maintenance.
After we've finished our work, both groups will reunite for a well-deserved lunch and recovery session. It’s the perfect way to give back while enjoying the great outdoors with friends and family. Details are being finalized so be sure to keep this on your radar.

Black Pond Wildlife Management Area Hike
Join us on Tuesday at 6:00 PM at the Black Pond WMA is part of the Eastern Lake Ontario
Marshes Bird Conservation Area. This rare lakeshore barrier beach and wetland complex provides critical habitat for birds. The accessible path and boardwalk leads to an observation platform, through the sand dunes (some as high as 60ft), then out to the Lake Ontario shoreline. Rating C.
