Mindfulness Meditation
The ISU Counseling and Mental Health Center offers a weekly meditation group for all members of the ISU community - students, faculty, and staff. This group provides a welcoming and supportive space to build mindfulness skills that can help reduce stress, improve emotional regulation, and enhance overall well-being. Each session is led by a trained, licensed professional and includes guided mindfulness practices such as breath awareness, walking meditation, body scans, and guided imagery.
No prior meditation experience is necessary, and no special equipment is required. Comfortable clothing is recommended. Chairs, yoga mats, and meditation cushions are provided.
Meetings are held every Friday in Graveley Hall, 2nd floor, Room 250, from 11:00 to 11:50 AM, throughout the semester. Please arrive by 11:10 AM and plan to stay until the end of the session. No RSVP is needed; drop-ins are welcome.

ISU's 9/11 Day of Service: Community Preparedness Fair
Community members will have the opportunity to learn about emergency preparedness, reducing risks, and recovery resources from local organizations. Each family will receive a 72-hour kit as well as instructions to help build a more robust emergency preparedness kit for their family. All attendees will receive instructions on how to build a robust emergency kit. This is a family friendly event with plenty of kids activities.

Yellowstone Tour
Visit America’s first national park on this tour of Yellowstone’s famous sights. We will see Old Faithful, the Grand Canyon of the Yellowstone, as well as many other geysers, hot pools, wildlife, and waterfalls. We will camp in Yellowstone National Park at Madison Campground for two nights.

Yurt Overnight Trip
Spend a night in an ISU OAC yurt! A yurt is a dome shaped structure that is equipped with bunk beds and a wood burning stove. The group will hike into the yurt, cook dinner, enjoy games in the yurt, then hike out the next morning.

Blacklight Bouldering at the ISU Climbing Wall is back again! For this event, everyone is encouraged to wear neon colors and climb! Mindfulness Meditation
The ISU Counseling and Mental Health Center offers a weekly meditation group for all members of the ISU community - students, faculty, and staff. This group provides a welcoming and supportive space to build mindfulness skills that can help reduce stress, improve emotional regulation, and enhance overall well-being. Each session is led by a trained, licensed professional and includes guided mindfulness practices such as breath awareness, walking meditation, body scans, and guided imagery.
No prior meditation experience is necessary, and no special equipment is required. Comfortable clothing is recommended. Chairs, yoga mats, and meditation cushions are provided.
Meetings are held every Friday in Graveley Hall, 2nd floor, Room 250, from 11:00 to 11:50 AM, throughout the semester. Please arrive by 11:10 AM and plan to stay until the end of the session. No RSVP is needed; drop-ins are welcome.

Moab, Utah National Parks Fall Break Trip
Spend Fall break in the desert of Moab, Utah hiking and exploring the National Parks. Participants will get the opportunity to explore Arches National Park and Canyonlands National Park. Moab has great shopping, restaurants and activities to participate in. The group will be staying at a camp park in town that has hot showers and bathrooms.
The trip fees cover transportation, park entrance fees, and campground. You are responsible for your own camping gear and food. Rentals and purchasing options are available at the OAC.
