Get ready for a high-energy, fast-paced LEGO Speed Challenge designed for builders ages 8 to 18. Participants will race against the clock to complete their build as quickly and accurately as possible, all while competing for exciting prizes. Our grand prize winner will receive a $100 gift card to The Pieceful Project, with second and third place prizes also awarded.
The best part? Every registered participant will go home with a full LEGO set, so everyone leaves with something awesome to build again.

Bacoa’s Alzheimer’s Support Group provides education, speakers and support for families and caregivers of people with Alzheimer’s and other dementias. It meets virtually on Zoom the second Wednesday of every month from 10:30-Noon.

It encompasses both free play and teacher-directed play, with the nature of the play shaped by the child's initiative and the adult's involvement. In play-based learning settings, children are encouraged to pursue their interests, start activities, and be self-directed with guidance from teachers. Educators also use play to reinforce and practice skills and concepts that have been explicitly taught.
