MRL Community Forum at The Reid Center
Join us for a Community Forum to discuss the proposed renovation and bond request for Morrisson-Reeves Library. The event will feature a short presentation by representatives from the Library Board of Trustees and the project's architect, followed by a public question-and-answer session.
The presentation will address key questions raised at a previous County Council meeting, including how the project's scope was determined, the alternatives considered, and the critical issues facing the building. This project is essential for addressing significant issues such as failing exterior brick, safety issues in the building, inadequate accessibility, and the need to update mechanical and electrical systems.

Stuffies Night at the Library
hildren are invited to a special stuffed animal-themed storytime! Bring your favorite stuffy to the library for stories and fun. After storytime, your stuffy will get to have a sleepover adventure at the library! We'll take photos of them participating in activities, like reading, having a snack, playing hide-and-seek, and sleeping. The next day, you can pick up your stuffie along with a special book filled with photos of their overnight escapades!
We know some children are very attached to their stuffies. Please do not bring and leave a stuffie that your child may have trouble being without. You may choose to bring your stuffie to storytime and then take them home. We will be unable to provide a book of photos of their activities in this case.

Traditional Indian Meditation Yoga
