IVC Dance Master Class Series: Sync Up Contemporary Partnering
Megan Doheny & Ilya Nikurov share tools and researched approaches in this explorative workshop creating and performing duet materials. This technique is based in open physical communication, nuanced listening techniques, action/reaction, playfulness/spontaneity, and the sharing of energy in real-time.
Outrun The Bear is the creative partnership of choreographers Megan Doheny and Ilya Nikurov, whose work blends physical intensity, playfulness, and striking emotional detail. Former dancers with Israel’s renowned Kibbutz Contemporary Dance Company (KCDC), they began creating together in 2015 and have presented their work at leading international festivals across Europe, Israel, the U.S. Japan, Singapore, and South Korea. Come fill out your IVC application today! During this one-hour workshop, students will work with an IVC representative to complete the first step of becoming an IVC student.
What to Bring: Social Security Number (if applicable) , Visa and Residency Information (if applicable) , Estimated Yearly Household Income , Electronic Access to Your Unofficial High School Transcript, No sign up necessary. Drop ins welcome!
