IVC Music: Summer Bass Seminars

IVC faculty member, Matt Hare, will be leading progressive group exercises for bassists of all levels. The first few minutes of each exercise are easy enough to include recent beginners through advanced players. Every few minutes the difficulty increases until only the advanced players remain. Then the group moves to the next exercise and the difficulty level resets. Basses available for checkout upon request. Each seminar closes with sight reading of bass ensemble music as time allows. Walk of Hope, featuring a Health and Wellness Expo

Join us for the Walk of Hope beginning at the SSC! The Walk of Hope is a meaningful event that brings our campus community together to raise awareness about suicide prevention, promote hope, and remind one another that no one must face life's challenges alone. Participants will walk one mile in unison around campus before continuing the experience at our Health and Wellness Expo, where campus and community organizations will share valuable resources that support physical, mental, emotional, and social well-being.  As a thank-you for participating, attendees who collect at least 10 stamps by visiting Health and Wellness Expo vendors and complete a brief survey using the QR code will receive a complimentary lunch. We look forward to walking alongside you as we foster hope, connection, and wellness throughout our campus community.
