ELEVATE AAPI: Not Your Model Minority - Asian American Activism & Resistance

Students will learn about the involvement of Asian Americans in the Third World Liberation Front and the fight for Ethnic Studies. This history will be presented as a counter to the stereotype of the Model Minority, wherein Asian and Asian American communities are seen as only quiet, submissive, and high-achieving.
