Adult Re-Entry Voices: A Student Listening Session
Returning to college as an adult brings unique challenges, opportunities, and strengths—and your voice matters. This listening session is designed exclusively for adult re-entry students (25 and older) to share their experiences, perspectives, and ideas in a supportive and welcoming environment. Through open dialogue, we hope to better understand the realities of balancing school, work, and family, and learn how IVC can continue to improve services, resources, and community for adult learners.

Laura’s House is committed to providing comprehensive, trauma-informed support to individuals and families impacted by domestic violence. As a part of their mission, they offer meaningful internship opportunities for students interested in gaining experience in this field.
Current internship tracks include: Childcare Support: Trauma-informed engagement with children in the Emergency Shelter (Confidential Location) and at our main office, Domestic Violence Resource Center (Aliso Viejo). , Hotline Support: Exposure to our 24-hour crisis hotline, including supervised experience handling crisis and non-crisis calls, safety planning, and resource navigation. , Prevention & Education: Assisting with youth presentations, community events, and resource fairs. , Case Management Support: Shadowing and supporting client advocacy and referrals Attend this info session to hear from representatives from Laura's House and learn about meaningful opportunities to intern and help others in need! >>>Click Here to Register…
