Centering Autistic Voices in Higher Education: A Lived Experience Panel (External, Zoom)
In honor of Autism Acceptance Month, this webinar centers the voices of autistic individuals and their lived experiences as students and professionals in higher education. Our diverse group of panelists represent colleges across California and will reflect on their academic experiences, mental health, intersectionality, transitions to college and careers, and what they wish college professionals knew. This spring, the AI Taskforce will facilitate a book club to discuss The Opposite of Cheating: Teaching for Integrity in the Age of AI by Tricia Bertram Galland and David A. Rettinger. The Chancellor’s Office is pleased to announce a new free, self-paced systemwide professional learning opportunity, AI Literacy for Educators: Supporting Student Success, offered via the CVC@ONE platform. This opportunity designed for faculty, instructional designers, and academic leaders reflects the Chancellor’s Office Vision 2030 commitment to driving innovation and shaping the future of learning through strategic partnerships.

In partnership, the California Community College Chancellor's Office and The RP Group are hosting a Concurrent Support Virtual Learning Series Conference on Friday, May 1, 2026, from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Attendees may register for multiple interactive workshops throughout the day, facilitated by faculty from community colleges. Future-Ready IVC Community of Practice: Capstone Showcase and Next Steps
The Future-Ready IVC Community of Practice (CoP) is a yearlong professional learning experience embedded within the Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Access Council (DEIA) Council. This initiative is designed to build shared understanding, institutional alignment, and actionable strategies around the principles of Community College 3.0, a model focused on preparing students for success beyond completion through strong transfer outcomes, career readiness, and social mobility.
The CoP brings together faculty, classified professionals, and administrators to collaboratively define what ""future ready"" means at Irvine Valley College and to foster a collective understanding of how all roles across the college contribute to student success.

Accessibility Center 2026 Workshop (External -Zoom)
We are pleased to announce the California Community Colleges Accessibility Center will hold its annual online workshop on Thursday, May 21, 2026, coinciding with Global Accessibility Awareness Day.
The workshop will offer a day of presentations highlighting accessibility awareness. Attendees will have access to join as many sessions as they choose and may come and go as needed throughout the day. Live captioning and ASL interpretation will be included in all sessions.

The Chancellor’s Office is pleased to announce a new free, self-paced systemwide professional learning opportunity, AI Literacy for Educators: Supporting Student Success, offered via the CVC@ONE platform. This opportunity designed for faculty, instructional designers, and academic leaders reflects the Chancellor’s Office Vision 2030 commitment to driving innovation and shaping the future of learning through strategic partnerships.
The course was developed originally through a collaboration between the Chancellor’s Office, the State University of New York (SUNY), the United Negro College Fund (UNCF), and several Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs), with project leadership and support from College of the Canyons and Carnegie Mellon University (CMU).
