Strategies for Facilitating Deliberative Dialogue in the College Classroom - Webinar & Discussion

Faculty face many challenges in the classroom as we navigate difficult discussions with our students, especially during turbulent times. This event will provide the opportunity to learn strategies for navigating these difficult conversations from experts in the field and connect with colleagues to discuss how this is impacting our classrooms. This session starts with a webinar, hosted by ACUE, titled "Strategies for Facilitating Deliberative Dialogue in the Classroom." In this webinar, you’ll learn clear, actionable approaches to foster productive, inclusive discussions and support students as they navigate challenging issues. Future-Ready IVC Community of Practice: How Every Role Supports Student Success

The Future-Ready IVC Community of Practice (CoP) is a yearlong professional learning experience embedded within the Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Access Council (DEIA) Council. This initiative is designed to build shared understanding, institutional alignment, and actionable strategies around the principles of Community College 3.0, a model focused on preparing students for success beyond completion through strong transfer outcomes, career readiness, and social mobility.
