Organized by the ISN Sister Renal Center UCL Centre for Kidney and Bladder Health, this four day online course provides an update on renal transplantation for nephrology clinicians, renal transplant surgeons, and allied health care professionals involved in renal transplant care. Attendees will learn about the clinical aspects of kidney transplants from donor and recipient selection to surgical and medical management post-transplant.
The course will help attendees understand how to assess kidney donors and recipients, the critical features of surgical transplantation, tissue typing, and the medical management of transplantation and its complications. Attendees will also be able to evaluate real cases of donor and recipient assessment, cross matching, and infectious complications of transplantation.

By encouraging a methodical and equitable approach to pediatric RRT and placing a strong emphasis on practical training and standardized protocols for medical practitioners, this conference seeks to close these gaps. Community pediatricians, new graduates, postgraduate students, nephrologists, and nurses are among the target participants. Given the lack of CRRT facilities, the emphasis is on the significance and usefulness of hemodialysis and peritoneal therapy.
