LICC Meeting
The Local Interagency Coordinating Council (LICC) functions as an oversight body for the Montgomery County Infants and Toddlers Program (MCITP). It is mandated by the Maryland State Department of Education (MSDE).
The LICC advises and assists the lead agency in administering, planning, coordinating, and improving the early intervention and education system. It works together with the MCITP to ensure that all children with disabilities (birth-kindergarten eligibility age) and their families have access to appropriate developmental and educational services.
LICC meets quarterly, alternating between in person and virtual meetings via Zoom. For virtual meetings you can attend on your computer, mobile device, or by phone. In-person meetings will be at 1401 Rockville Pike, First Floor, Rockville.

Memorial Day, also known as Decoration Day, is an official holiday observed in most states of the United States. It is observed on the last Monday in May; historically it was observed on a fixed date, May 30, until 1971 when it was changed for federal employees. All states adopted the change to the last Monday in May except Louisiana. Memorial Day began after the end of World War I when the day was reserved for honoring the dead of all American wars; it eventually included the deceased relatives and friends, military and civilian. Memorial Day is officially marked by the placing of a wreath at the Tomb of the Unknowns in Arlington National Cemetery.
