Each year, Sikhs celebrate the anniversary of the first installation of the Siri Guru Granth Sahib which took place in 1604. At that time, it was called the Adi Granth and did not contain the writings of Guru Teg Bahadur Ji’s which were added by Guru Gobind Singh Ji in 1708. It was a significant landmark for the Sikhs. The sacred writings of spiritual poetry, set to musical raags, were compiled and completed by Guru Arjan Dev Ji on the 30 August 1604 and then first installed at Harimandir Sahib in Amritsar, India.

The Mental Health Advisory Committee meets the first Tuesday of every month at 7pm-9pm virtually on the teams app. The Committee monitors, reviews, and evaluates the allocation and adequacy of publicly funded mental health services within the County through means such as conducting or participating in site visits; determines the needs of the County mental health system, including quality of services, gaps in the system, and interagency coordination; and, participates in the development of the local mental health plan and local mental health budgets.

DEP and CBT will be hosting a Press Event (possibly a ribbon cutting) at the Shrine of St. Jude's Catholic Church. The event will highlight the milestone of reaching $1 million dollars in grant funding distributed to local non-profits in FY26. The event will showcase several of the grantees projects and, if completed, a ribbon cutting of the permeable pavement being installed at St. Jude's through the Eco-Latino's contractor training program.
