, MCDOT is holding a series of informal "pop-up events" at bus stops and other locations along the planned New Hampshire Avenue Flash Bus Rapid Transit (BRT) corridor. At the events, the team will share project information, collect feedback, and provide an opportunity to complete a public input survey.
BRT is different from typical bus service in that it has the goal of arriving approximately every 15 minutes, and approximately every 7-8 minutes during morning and evening rush hours.
Bus Rapid Transit provides: pre-boarding payment , priority traffic light signaling , dedicated lanes where possible, The New Hampshire Avenue Flash BRT planning study is exploring options for providing higher quality, faster, and more reliable transit service along the corridor. Several alternatives have been developed and evaluated. The public can fill out an online survey to provide feedback about these alternatives.

, MCDOT is holding a series of informal "pop-up events" at bus stops and other locations along the planned New Hampshire Avenue Flash Bus Rapid Transit (BRT) corridor. At the events, the team will share project information, collect feedback, and provide an opportunity to complete a public input survey.
BRT is different from typical bus service in that it has the goal of arriving approximately every 15 minutes, and approximately every 7-8 minutes during morning and evening rush hours.
Bus Rapid Transit provides: pre-boarding payment , priority traffic light signaling , dedicated lanes where possible, The New Hampshire Avenue Flash BRT planning study is exploring options for providing higher quality, faster, and more reliable transit service along the corridor. Several alternatives have been developed and evaluated. The public can fill out an online survey to provide feedback about these alternatives.

MCDOT Holds New Hampshire Ave Flash Bus Rapid Transit (BRT) Pop-Up Event at New Hampshire and Eastern Avenue

, MCDOT is holding a series of informal "pop-up events" at bus stops and other locations along the planned New Hampshire Avenue Flash Bus Rapid Transit (BRT) corridor. At the events, the team will share project information, collect feedback, and provide an opportunity to complete a public input survey.
BRT is different from typical bus service in that it has the goal of arriving approximately every 15 minutes, and approximately every 7-8 minutes during morning and evening rush hours.
Bus Rapid Transit provides: pre-boarding payment , priority traffic light signaling , dedicated lanes where possible, The New Hampshire Avenue Flash BRT planning study is exploring options for providing higher quality, faster, and more reliable transit service along the corridor. Several alternatives have been developed and evaluated. The public can fill out an online survey to provide feedback about these alternatives.
