Summer Camp Design Your Own Monopoly Board
Community
Come to the Fab Lab and create your own Monopoly board game. You will want to come to the lab on the first day with an idea of what you want your theme to be. We have all the templates to help you in creating your own customized Monopoly game.
Each game will have:
A customized board for you to print out on vinyl OR engrave onto wood.
4 game pieces that you can 3D print from thingiverse (in other words they are already designed).
Property cards, Community Chest cards, and Chance cards that you can customize, print off and then cut.
Money in different colors and denominations
It may take longer than one week to complete this entire set. We will assist you in the design aspect of the board which will take place in Adobe Illustrator. No previous knowledge is required, but the less knowledge you have of Illustrator, the longer you should be prepared to spend in the lab.

Summer Camp Build Your Own 3D Printer

Build Your Own 3D Printer. Everyone begins with a 3D Printer kit (included)and over the course of the next couple of days, you'll learn how each component contributes to the overall operation of the printer so you'll be able to repair and replace components as needed.
This workshop will last for two days. Each day for three hours until the printer is completed. When you leave on the second day, you'll have a full functioning 3D printer for your home. Price also includes a roll of filament (PLA- 1kg) that will be used for testing your printer after assembly.
Overview of thingiverse, Fusion 360, Solidworks is also included in this workshop.
Registration will close one week prior to the start of the workshop to prep all materials.
