Skeleton Workshop

Use the laser cutters to cut out and then decorate either a 6 foot or 3 foot skeleton and use it as part of your household Halloween decorations. You'll start with the cardboard, then cut out the shapes before using fasteners to put it all together (and the pieces will be moveable) so you can put the skeleton in different poses, etc for display.

Description:
Two large budget components are automobiles and housing. Knowing all the implications and planning carefully for a vehicle purchase has potential to save you huge amounts of money and time. We clarify the vehicle buying process, especially the various loan and lease options, helping you understand what lenders look at to qualify you for a car loan, as well as all the expenses involved with vehicle ownership.
In home ownership, several options for mortgages are available, with different qualification requirements and terms. This portion details those options and describes the factors lenders consider when qualifying borrowers for a home loan. The step-by-step process of negotiating and entering into a mortgage agreement is covered. Also, we detail the many costs beyond the down payment and mortgage payment that are associated with the purchase, ownership, and sale of a home.

Laser Witch Workshop

Come to the Fab Lab and celebrate Halloween with laser cutting a witch. This multi-layered wood crafting project will get you into the Halloween spirit in no time. You'll start with a piece of 3mm plywood and instruct the laser on how to cut it. Once cut, you'll paint the different pieces (whatever color you'd like) and then put the witch together. In the picture, you'll see the witch with the different parts (unpainted). Total project will be approximately 9-10 inches high and 12 inches across. Price of the workshop includes the laser cutting, materials, supplies, all paint and paint brushes, etc.
