The trail begins along the Virgin River and follows a well-marked trail into Refrigerator Canyon. The cooling breeze of Refrigerator Canyon will refresh you as you prepare to climb Walter's Wiggles, a steep section of 21 switchbacks.
The real adventure begins at the top at Scouts Lookout where lucky guests are treated to condors soaring on the winds created by the steep canyon walls. From here, the hike ascends another 0.8 miles to the summit. This last section of trail is known as the Hogs Back and has 1,500-foot drop-offs on both sides. The trail is often only a few feet wide and requires extreme caution. There is a chain securely anchored in place to help guide and assist.

An out-and back day hike located in the lower section of famous Zion Canyon Narrows, where the North Fork Virgin River runs beneath thousand-foot walls of Navajo sandstone that centuries of erosion have sculpted into into some of the most beautiful rock formations in all of the American Southwest. This canyon is one of the world's most famous slot canyon hikes and Zions hallmark.

Backing up to the edge of the cliff can be very scary and those first few steps over the edge of this 90-foot cliff can be a little unnerving, but once past that point, rappelling is a thrilling adventure with a great view as a bonus. Rappelling is the process of descending a fixed rope by making a controlled slide down the rope, using safety system and equipment, which includes ropes, harness rappel device and anchors that the ropes are threaded through.
Cost: $175. Note: Rappelling involves a 1/4-mile hike to get to the area where we stay in one location and focus on teaching the techniques needed. Backing up to the edge of the cliff can be very scary and those first few steps over the edge of this 90-foot cliff can be a little unnerving, but once past that point, rappelling is a thrilling adventure with a great view as a bonus. Rappelling is the process of descending a fixed rope by making a controlled slide down the rope, using safety system and equipment, which includes ropes, harness rappel device and anchors that the ropes are threaded through.
Cost: $175. Note: Rappelling involves a 1/4-mile hike to get to the area where we stay in one location and focus on teaching the techniques needed. It has 3 rappels that start short and gradually get longer and steeper as we progress. After each rappel there is a roped scramble to get back up to the top. The trail begins along the Virgin River and follows a well-marked trail into Refrigerator Canyon. The cooling breeze of Refrigerator Canyon will refresh you as you prepare to climb Walter's Wiggles, a steep section of 21 switchbacks.
The real adventure begins at the top at Scouts Lookout where lucky guests are treated to condors soaring on the winds created by the steep canyon walls. From here, the hike ascends another 0.8 miles to the summit. This last section of trail is known as the Hogs Back and has 1,500-foot drop-offs on both sides. The trail is often only a few feet wide and requires extreme caution. There is a chain securely anchored in place to help guide and assist.

The trail begins along the Virgin River and follows a well-marked trail into Refrigerator Canyon. The cooling breeze of Refrigerator Canyon will refresh you as you prepare to climb Walter's Wiggles, a steep section of 21 switchbacks.
The real adventure begins at the top at Scouts Lookout where lucky guests are treated to condors soaring on the winds created by the steep canyon walls. From here, the hike ascends another 0.8 miles to the summit. This last section of trail is known as the Hogs Back and has 1,500-foot drop-offs on both sides. The trail is often only a few feet wide and requires extreme caution. There is a chain securely anchored in place to help guide and assist.

Backing up to the edge of the cliff can be very scary and those first few steps over the edge of this 90-foot cliff can be a little unnerving, but once past that point, rappelling is a thrilling adventure with a great view as a bonus. Rappelling is the process of descending a fixed rope by making a controlled slide down the rope, using safety system and equipment, which includes ropes, harness rappel device and anchors that the ropes are threaded through.
Cost: $175. Note: Rappelling involves a 1/4-mile hike to get to the area where we stay in one location and focus on teaching the techniques needed. The trail begins along the Virgin River and follows a well-marked trail into Refrigerator Canyon. The cooling breeze of Refrigerator Canyon will refresh you as you prepare to climb Walter's Wiggles, a steep section of 21 switchbacks.
The real adventure begins at the top at Scouts Lookout where lucky guests are treated to condors soaring on the winds created by the steep canyon walls. From here, the hike ascends another 0.8 miles to the summit. This last section of trail is known as the Hogs Back and has 1,500-foot drop-offs on both sides. The trail is often only a few feet wide and requires extreme caution. There is a chain securely anchored in place to help guide and assist.

An experience unlike any other. An out-and back day hike located in the lower section of famous Zion Canyon Narrows, where the North Fork Virgin River runs beneath thousand-foot walls of Navajo sandstone that centuries of erosion have sculpted into into some of the most beautiful rock formations in all of the American Southwest. This canyon is one of the world's most famous slot canyon hikes and Zions hallmark.

Backing up to the edge of the cliff can be very scary and those first few steps over the edge of this 90-foot cliff can be a little unnerving, but once past that point, rappelling is a thrilling adventure with a great view as a bonus. Rappelling is the process of descending a fixed rope by making a controlled slide down the rope, using safety system and equipment, which includes ropes, harness rappel device and anchors that the ropes are threaded through.
Cost: $175. Note: Rappelling involves a 1/4-mile hike to get to the area where we stay in one location and focus on teaching the techniques needed. It has 3 rappels that start short and gradually get longer and steeper as we progress. After each rappel there is a roped scramble to get back up to the top. Backing up to the edge of the cliff can be very scary and those first few steps over the edge of this 90-foot cliff can be a little unnerving, but once past that point, rappelling is a thrilling adventure with a great view as a bonus. Rappelling is the process of descending a fixed rope by making a controlled slide down the rope, using safety system and equipment, which includes ropes, harness rappel device and anchors that the ropes are threaded through.
Cost: $175. Note: Rappelling involves a 1/4-mile hike to get to the area where we stay in one location and focus on teaching the techniques needed. Backing up to the edge of the cliff can be very scary and those first few steps over the edge of this 90-foot cliff can be a little unnerving, but once past that point, rappelling is a thrilling adventure with a great view as a bonus. Rappelling is the process of descending a fixed rope by making a controlled slide down the rope, using safety system and equipment, which includes ropes, harness rappel device and anchors that the ropes are threaded through.
Cost: $175. Note: Rappelling involves a 1/4-mile hike to get to the area where we stay in one location and focus on teaching the techniques needed. It has 3 rappels that start short and gradually get longer and steeper as we progress. After each rappel there is a roped scramble to get back up to the top. An out-and back day hike located in the lower section of famous Zion Canyon Narrows, where the North Fork Virgin River runs beneath thousand-foot walls of Navajo sandstone that centuries of erosion have sculpted into into some of the most beautiful rock formations in all of the American Southwest. Backing up to the edge of the cliff can be very scary and those first few steps over the edge of this 90-foot cliff can be a little unnerving, but once past that point, rappelling is a thrilling adventure with a great view as a bonus. Rappelling is the process of descending a fixed rope by making a controlled slide down the rope, using safety system and equipment, which includes ropes, harness rappel device and anchors that the ropes are threaded through.
Cost: $175. Note: Rappelling involves a 1/4-mile hike to get to the area where we stay in one location and focus on teaching the techniques needed. Canyoneering is a uniquely Southern Utah experience, where you find yourself hiking, scrambling, and maneuvering your way through narrow twisting slot canyons. Rappelling into narrow chutes and deep chasms carved by the forces of erosion, we get to enjoy and recreate in a magical realm, while confronting our fears and challenging our bodies in a safe and controlled setting. Challenge level hiking. No experience required, just teamwork and a sense of adventure. This event does include ledges and exposure.

Guests are required to wear closed toed athletic shoes and carry a backpack with water for a "hands-free" hiking experience. This is for your safety and enjoyment. Challenge Hike: These hikes are for experienced hikers. We hike at an aerobic pace designed to challenge confident hikers. Trails vary and can include uneven desert terrain, rock scrambling, exposure, slick rock areas, sandy washes and basalt. Be prepared to hike up to 5 miles with elevation changes.

Enjoy an electric assist bike ride through the beautiful red rock landscape of Snow Canyon State Park. Choose the difficulty of workout you prefer and let Electric pedal assist do the rest.
