Enka-Candler Library The Michael Jefry Stevens Trio will perform a selection of original music by Michael as well as standard jazz repertoire from the Great American Songbook.  The trio will feature California transplant bassist Bryan McConnell and local veteran drummer Rick Dilling. SHELL : Theatre for the Very Young presented by Asheville Creative Arts

West Asheville Library A 30-minute interactive multilingual and multimedia performance installation for ages 0-7 and their caretakers. SHELL includes projections, movement, puppetry and play. SHELL follows a Slug and a Snail who journey to find a new shell when the Snail’s shell is broken in a storm. Pack Memorial Library Buncombe County Public Library started our inaugural countywide book club called One Book, One Buncombe this spring. The vision for this communal effort is to have as many people as possible read, discuss, meditate, and ultimately have the shared experience of collectively reading the same book this spring. Love is Like a Butterfly: A Dolly Parton Poetry Writing Workshop

Art of Living: Introduction to Mindfulness

Enka-Candler Library Meet Gracie, a certified therapy dog whose spirit and affectionate personality are sure to win your heart. Despite having one less leg, this ten year old "tripod" Great Pyrenees mix is excited about life, always eager for a run or swim and approaches everything with a big smile. Gracie's physical difference does not stop her mission to spread love and happiness to everyone she meets. Her empathy and willingness to listen, make her the perfect friend for anyone in need of comfort or support. Join Gracie and her parent, Lisa, for an hour at the library where you can take turns reading, petting, or saying hello! Land of the Sky 101 Book Club

A Matter of Balance is an award-winning program designed to manage falls and increase activity levels.This program emphasizes practical strategies to manage falls. Art of Living: Introduction to Mindfulness

A Matter of Balance is an award-winning program designed to manage falls and increase activity levels.This program emphasizes practical strategies to manage falls. The presentation will include a historical exploration of Moog's life and career through archival photos from the Bob Moog Foundation Archives interwoven with readings from the biography “Switched On: Bob Moog and the Synthesizer Revolution” by Albert Glinsky. West Side Stories: Sharing West Asheville’s History

West Asheville Library The West Asheville History Project is Buncombe County Public Libraries’ longest-running community-driven archives project. Learn more and share your story at this evening event held in partnership with the West Asheville History Museum! At the West Asheville Library, from 5–6pm, Clifford W. Cotton II and Robert M. Randolph will share tales of their family history in West Asheville.
