Foster Parent Training (Class 1 of the 6 week course)
Foster Care
This training provides six weeks (30 hours) of foster parent training to help prepare you for the challenges and joys of being a foster parent. The classes are held one evening a week for six weeks and must be attended in the order they are offered.
In general, foster families provide a safe, temporary placement for children from birth to age 18. These vulnerable youth want to stay in their home communities with their school, friends and in these beautiful mountains, we all call home. Licensed foster families can make this happen!
Classes in this session will occur on the following dates:
Class 1 and Orientation: January 23, 2025
Class 2: January 30, 2025
Class 3: February 6, 2025
Class 4: February 13, 2025
