Murphy Art Walk First Fridays of the Month 5-8 p.m. • Free Stop by Olive’s Porch during Murphy Art Walk on the first Friday of each month May–December. Fiber and Film at the Peacock Playhouse

Ready for a cozy night of crafting? Join us for Film & Fiber at the Peacock Theater in Hayesville on June 11th! We will be screening “Penny Serenade” a Cary Grant classic.  Bring your knitting, crochet, or whatever crafty project you love and can be done in your lap. Doors open at 5pm, and the movie starts rolling at 5:30pm. Minors can tag along (as long as they bring a parent or guardian). There’s a suggested $10 donation to help keep the good times rolling for our community. The Peacock’s got us covered with concessions. So come hungry for popcorn, treats, and plenty of laughs. Community Carving Night  Third Fridays of the Month  Richard Carter & Carolyn Anderson • 4-6 p.m. • Free!     Every third Friday of the month, Olive's Porch hosts a community carving night. Learn how to carve your favorite domesticated and woodland creatures in the style of the Brasstown Carvers. This event is provided free-of-charge to the public through grant-funding so tools and materials are provided. Ages 10+ are invited to participate. Minors must be accompanied by an adult.
