Throughout downtown Murphy, there will be arts, crafts, music, performances, art demonstrations, and interactive experiences for the entire family. Downtown merchants are open until 8 p.m. Murphy Artwalk is produced by the Valley River Arts Guild.

Fiber and Film at the Peacock Playhouse
Ready for a cozy night of crafting? Join us for Film & Fiber at the Peacock Theater in Hayesville on June 11th! We will be screening “Penny Serenade” a Cary Grant classic.
Bring your knitting, crochet, or whatever crafty project you love and can be done in your lap. Doors open at 5pm, and the movie starts rolling at 5:30pm. Minors can tag along (as long as they bring a parent or guardian). There’s a suggested $10 donation to help keep the good times rolling for our community.
The Peacock’s got us covered with concessions. So come hungry for popcorn, treats, and plenty of laughs.

This event is provided free-of-charge to the public through grant-funding so tools and materials are provided. Ages 10+ are invited to participate. Minors must be accompanied by an adult.
