Do you sometimes find that words are not enough to process your experiences? Are you looking for new or alternate ways to cope with stress during this time? Are you looking to find connection with others who have similar experiences? In these virtual support groups, participants will use traditional and non-traditional art materials commonly found at home to engage in creative processes for self-expression, relaxation, and relating to others. Previous art experience is not required. Groups will be facilitated by a registered art therapist.

This ONE-DAY accelerated and interactive course will review relaxation, stages of labor/vaginal deliveries, cesarean sections, anesthesia, postpartum, and hospital newborn care. Birthing parents and partners will have the opportunity to practice labor positions, breathing techniques, and swaddling/diapering newborns.
This class is led by a women's health RN/Childbirth Educator and is designed for those who want to receive all course content within one class day. Web-based learning materials will be provided. There will be a 45-minute break for lunch.
Families are encouraged to register separately for a virtual maternity tour session.

GSPP Lymphedema Virtual Support Group

The Lymphedma Support Group at GSPP Rehabilitation, the official therapy provider for Penn Medicine, provides a safe place for anyone dealing with lymphedema as the result of an injury or illness. The group is run by certified lymphedema therapists from Penn Medicine | Good Shepherd Rehabilitation Outpatient Therapy who understand the challenges limb swelling can present. During monthly meetings, we’ll discuss ways to minimize symptoms and enjoy life to the fullest extent possible. Participants have the opportunity to ask questions and learn from each other’s experiences. Do you sometimes find that words are not enough to process your experiences? Are you looking for new or alternate ways to cope with stress during this time? Are you looking to find connection with others who have similar experiences? In these virtual support groups, participants will use traditional and non-traditional art materials commonly found at home to engage in creative processes for self-expression, relaxation, and relating to others. Previous art experience is not required. Groups will be facilitated by a registered art therapist.

This non-certification course teaches the lifesaving skills of Infant CPR and the relief of choking. Skills are taught by Certified CPR Instructors.
Family and Friends CPR is designed for individuals who want to learn CPR, but do not need a course completion card.
This course is ideal for new parents, grandparents, babysitters, and others interested in saving a life.

This ONE-DAY accelerated and interactive course will review relaxation, stages of labor/vaginal deliveries, cesarean sections, anesthesia, postpartum, and hospital newborn care. Birthing parents and partners will have the opportunity to practice labor positions, breathing techniques, and swaddling/diapering newborns.
This class is led by a women's health RN/Childbirth Educator and is designed for those who want to receive all course content within one class day. Web-based learning materials will be provided. There will be a 45-minute break for lunch.

Brain Injury Support Group

The Brain Injury Support Group at GSPP Rehabilitation holds meetings where therapists provide an open space to share brain injury-related stories, emotions, questions and concerns. Participants are provided with education related to adjustment to disability and community reintegration following inpatient rehabilitation. This group allows participants to increase socialization and develop relationships within our program. IN PERSON Childbirth Prep Labor Lab
Women's Health HUP
This ONE-DAY accelerated and interactive course will review relaxation, stages of labor/vaginal deliveries, cesarean sections, anesthesia, postpartum, and hospital newborn care. Birthing parents and partners will have the opportunity to practice labor positions, breathing techniques, and swaddling/diapering newborns.
This class is led by a women's health RN/Childbirth Educator and is designed for those who want to receive all course content within one class day. Web-based learning materials will be provided. There will be a 45-minute break for lunch.
Families are encouraged to register separately for a virtual maternity tour session.
